It has the best picture of any TV I have ever owned. This is my 3rd large format Sony and it outperforms any other TV I've see.

Totally Unnecessary Purchase

I have a perfectly good 55" Sony Bravia XBR that works great. I took my wife to Best Buy to get a new I phone and while purchasing the phone I was amazed by the picture quality of the Bravia 8. So I decided to buy it. I am so happy with the color and black levels of this TV. It was an excellent choice.

Awesome OLED

I ultimately returned this unit because it was a hair too dark, however the colors and blacks are fantastic. I was advised not to buy this tv for the brightness of my room and didn't listen so thats on me. If you are on the fence about this or the Bravia 8ii, the 8ii is hands down the way to go! If you want to save some money, this tv is great if you have a darker room.

I bought it strictly to pair with my PS5 Pro I bought the nice 8kHdmi and the Sony Bravia 8. Needless to say I’m truly satisfied with my purchase. I’ve always been a Samsung fan for TVs but I found this Sony on sale and the quality is amazing. Sony on Sony you can’t go wrong and the OLED is by far the best picture

It's a gorgeous picture, and to anyone concerned about OLED's brightness (I was one of them) I think it's more than enough for most situations. I'll admit I have a very light controlled living room but I think even in a fairly bright room it will not disappoint.

The older movies and tv shows look fantastic with this Sony processor. I replaced my 2016 Samsung SUHD with Quantum dot display that I ran for 9 years and probably 18hrs a day so I’m hoping this tv will hold up just as well. My dad used to always buy the Sony products in the past, even those heavy tube tvs
