“Premium” price, dollar-store reliability

Paid a small fortune for this Sony TV because it’s supposed to be a premium brand. What I actually got was a glorified wall decoration.
After barely a year, the speakers started acting up, and soon after that the TV just stopped turning on altogether. No warning, no accident, no misuse — it just gave up on life.
Naturally, Sony’s support was about as helpful as unplugging it and plugging it back in (yes, I tried that). Their solution? Basically “too bad, you’re on your own.” For a TV that costs this much, that’s impressive in the worst possible way.
So now I get the privilege of fixing it myself or tossing an “expensive premium TV” into the trash. Fantastic design philosophy: charge top dollar, then disappear when it fails right after warranty.
If you’re shopping at Best Buy and considering Sony — don’t. Unless you enjoy paying extra for brand names, broken speakers, dead TVs, and DIY repair projects.
Hard pass. Never again.

This TV is the best on the market right now. OLED is far superior to QLED and all the other features are superior.

No Xfinity app

Does not allow for Xfinity app to be used, cable box needed.

We understand it's disappointing when a specific app isn't available. The Xfinity Stream app's availability is determined by Comcast/Xfinity's specific agreements and technical requirements, which currently necessitate their own hardware. It is a very bright and clear. We have it on our sun porch with lots of sun coming through and it is still bright and clear.

My 65" Sony Oled TV has not functioned correctly since the first time I turned it on. The verbal command on the remote control does not function correctly and always displays a station I did not ask to be displayed. The TV also displays stations from an earlier time of day when a TV station is selected. There are so many issues with this TV if I had to make a purchase again I would NOT buy this TV! I am NOT happy with this item - Sony 65" Oled TV. I will be purchasing a different TV VERY soon!!!!!!

We understand how frustrating it can be selecting the station you want and being redirected to another one, this is something that should not be going on. Here are some useful steps we would like to recommend to solve these problems: 1- Restart your TV by holding down the power button on the Sony remote for 5 seconds and select "Restart" 2- Check if your remote control is updated, you can go to Settings > Remotes and accessories > Remote control > Software update 3- Make sure that your TV is also up to date by selecting Settings > system > about > system software update > Software update. Also is worth noting that the functionality of the Sony remote control to change channels is dependable on different factors like the external device (cable box/antenna) or streaming app that you are using. I had to get it warranted out. If you have a problem just return it immediately and don’t try to troubleshoot it since Bestbuy’s return policy is so short. Sony handled it but it was several hours of being on the phone. Great picture quality though with the new one.

Picture quality wasnt very good. Was disappointed with the tv. I am a sony fan but they need to step their game up.
