I watched a lot of youtube videos on how to calibrate the perfect picture settings. The only thing i can't figure out is how to turn on the screen saver. I hate having to exit apps instead of just pausing them. Also, for everyone saying the tv keeps shutting off go into settings<system<power and energy. Then change the "auto shut-off" settings. One of them says Shut-off when watching, you want to change that to never.

Based my decision on a few factors. One being it is a google OS. Second the stock sound quality. Third the overall picture quality. Once home and calibration was done. I quickly fell in love with everything about this TV. Massive improvement from the brand o had previously. I quickly decided to use it in another room. And buy a second one for the living room. Only the second is a Bravia 7 75 inch. As the Bravia 7 is a bit brighter for the room. Only thing I can say. Is if you have a bright room. It doesn't get very bright. Either way I am blown away by the overall quality and performance.

Sony 65” TV Review

So, I returned it and bought a Sony 65” tv. What a difference! The picture and sound quality were significantly better. I especially like the option to amplify voice/dialogue, making it easier to hear.

OLED is the best

I wanted to like the TV coming from 8 years of using LG OLED TVs. Picture quality was great, but the screen just did not get as bright as I would have liked. The 2 best qualities of this Sony model are the built-in speakers and the Google TV OS. The Google TV OS is so much better than LG WebOS. But in the end, I returned it for a LG C4 for an extra $50 as there was something wrong with the Sony panel. It had vertical lines down the screen on a black screen in SDR. OLED TVs are pitch black when nothing is on the screen. Was not the case with this one.

Picture quality exceeded expectations. The only technical issue we are working is the compatibility between our Sony Model and Sonos sound bar. The sound cuts in and out with the sound bar.

We understand how frustrating intermittent audio can be, especially when pairing with a high-end soundbar like Sonos. Audio cutting out between a TV and soundbar via the HDMI eARC/ARC port can often be resolved by changing the Digital Audio Out setting on the TV from Auto to Auto 1, and ensuring the TV's software is fully updated, as this helps stabilize the data handshake between the two brands. If this doesn't resolve the issue, please try disabling the eARC Mode in the TV's audio settings, as the standard ARC protocol can sometimes be more stable for certain soundbar models, or check your HDMI cable connection to ensure it is fully seated and is a high-speed certified cable.

The picture is amazing and the TV automatically upgrades to Dolby Vision on applicable streaming services. Even older shows like Friends and The Office have great pictures. The only thing I haven't tried on the TV yet is gaming since we typically game on PCs.

The picture quality is pretty amazing actually. Very clear and bright. All the colors are vivid and the darks are dark/nicely contrasted like they should be with the OLED UHD technology. I was a little unsure how it would do in our living room that can be pretty bright/sunny since some of the reviews that I read said the screen can be hard to see in brighter rooms but the picture is still great even when the room is bright from the sun. We're pretty happy!

The Sony menu is a little busy and somewhat disjointed. Sound quality is negligible since I’ve attached it to a dedicated surround sound system. Dolby vision produces a pretty amazing picture. Brightness is good and even brighter if you turn off the automatic ambient lighting match setting. Overall I’d buy this TV again. I’ve had a Sony ever since flat screens were invented and have never been disappointed. My last XBR that this is replacing lasted 17 years so I’m hoping to get the same quality from this one.

Nice TV, skimping on basic hardware

The OLED screen is nice to watch. However, it was disappointing to see Sony not providing basic hardware. The instructions asked me to remove 4 screws from the back, and it was natural to think that those screws can be used to attach the stand to the TV. Nope, those screws are NOT provided, and you need to go and get them! (And never mind the removal -- I had to put those 4 screws back) Also, there is a whole lot of verbiage about securing the TV by using some form of a chain, hooks, etc., but none of that stuff is included. Why skimp of such cheap things on an expensive TV?

Amazing TV especially for PS5

The google interface is easy to navigate and customize. The picture quality is excellent. The PS5 looks stunning when playing. You will have to mess with a couple of settings to be able to use the 120hz refresh, but its super easy to do. I highly recommend buying this tv.
