I moved from Sony Bravia CRT to Sony Bravia 49" LCD 1080p HDTV 20 years ago and was blown away at the time. I moved to the new 65" Sony Bravia XR A8oK OLED 4K HDTV and I am speechless. 4K is totally unbelievable!! Sony is absolutely the best quality of all the competition.!!

HBO Max is the best example. It will open and you can navigate to a streaming selection but then nothing or a frozen video frame or no video. Pull the plug and restart the set and it works as you would expect. That said this is the second best television we have ever purchased only because we bought an A90J for the family room last year.

Altho it comes with a remote I usually use my Android phone as a remote while wife hoards the original remote. We have not yet connected exterior sound as the built in is good.

My only wish would've been to go with the 77' however value is completely lost because you pay over $1000 more for no additional capability, only screen size. If you have $1000 to burn though it would be pretty awesome to see it in 77'.

Great TV in ever way except ethernet connection

Owned for 5 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a soft spot for the Bravia line of televisions because they work so perfectly with my PlayStations (ps4 and ps5). Everything about this TV is superb. It surprisingly has acceptable built in speakers with suitable bass. A soundbar or 5.1 system like I have is the way to go though. There is 1 flaw I found to be unacceptable in a TV like this. The Ethernet port on the back is limited to 100mbps. In 2022 when I purchased this, 1gbps (1000mbps) connections are pretty standard in communication devices if they want to compete against wireless speeds. I find it my foolish that my hardwired CAT6 connection to my internet will only reach up/down speeds of 100mbps, when this TV across the house from the router can reach 600-700mbps speeds using the built in wireless. It's petty to complain about I know, because most people don't care about hard wiring things today. But I'm adding this in here in case anyone is looking for good ethernet speed through a wire
