My husband uses it soley for gaming and it is just absolutely beautiful abs the resolution is awesome! It does have a blue screen tint to it when turned off which I find kinda cool!

Worth the Upgrade to a Smart TV

I love that I don't need a separate sound bar to get high quality sound. It took a little time (hour) to do the initial digital settings and hookups but I am at average electronics skills. The software walks you through it. We are using the feet. Supposedly you could set up the feet so the TV can be set up at 3 different heights. We wanted the heighest set up but could not figure it out from the picture instructions. Overall, very satisfied with this purchase.

Very happy with the new TV. I did however get a sound bar at the recommendation of some industrial reviews. They said because of the thinner TVs the sound is not as good. I purchased a Sony sound bar and I am very pleased with it. I gave the sound a four star rating because I have the sound bar and I’m not just using the TV, but honestly, I haven’t paid much attention to the sound without the sound bar.

A80 a good choice

Picture quality excellent on both, TV pricing was the same and would have been happy with either. Not a gamer and A80 for movies and streaming seemed the better choice. Ultimately, came down to TV and Soundbar bundle. The A80K with the Sony HT-A 5000 soundbar and SA-SW3 200 W sub are great combo at decent price. Geek Squad was great...Knowledgeable, personable and on and out in 30 mins.

Great performance and auto-set 4k Netflix content and Visio-cinema experiences. I think you don’t need to buy a soundbar separately. Sony OLED panel has really great performance. Initially I tended to buy Samsung model S95B but I changed my changed my mind ok time. The best choice ever made. Best Buy team was always supporting in the entire process .

I expected more from a OLED. Watching the NBA playoffs and the players would be blurry at times. Ended up retiring and going with another brand.
