I’ve always had Samsung but wanted an OLED and Samsung is new to this technology so I was between LG and Sony. Definitely took the best option, very happy with this Sony.

Using the provided TV stands but also have the 77 inch version on a Sony Wall Mount. Only complaint is that I paired with a Sony HT-A 5000 sound bar and the feature that allows the internal TV speaker to act as a center speaker for the sound bar does not work properly (it makes a hissing noise). Sony is aware of the problem, but I don’t want a repairman to come out and open up my new TV.

When connecting a TV with the TV center speaker mode or the S-Center speaker mode to an audio system or soundbar, you can use your TV as part of your center speaker. By using your TV as part of your center speaker, conversations sound natural because you can hear them from the screen and its vicinity. Models with TV center speaker mode or S-Center speaker mode have either CENTER SPEAKER IN or S-CENTER SPEAKER IN terminals on the back of the TV. Great picture and easy menu!

The remote is intuitive enough for my 8 and 10 year olds to operate it. We love the home menu, as we cut the cable a while back and completely rely on streaming platforms. It’s nice that they’re all together and have some other neat groupings within this menu. We have a sound bar, so I can’t comment on sound quality. The screen picture is gorgeous and we enjoy streaming 4k content and movies now. We’ll worth the holiday sale price.

Bad customer service

Horrible experience with this tv recently. Only 99 days old and it flashed a green bar down the center and won’t turn on. Battling Sony on getting it repaired and not having much luck currently. Will never get a Sony again.
