My goodness, the picture is perfect! HDR and SDR. So happy with this purchase. Competes with the latest and greatest from LG and holds its own. The build quality is fantastic. For the current price its a no brainer. Don't think anymore, buy it!

We purchased this Sony about a year ago and had the BB Team install it in May of 22 after the house was built. Had Sony a long time ago, and had been purchasing Samsung in recent years. During the in-store comparison my wife almost immediately gravitated to the Sony’s picture. I was sold at first view. We have never spent this kind of money on a TV, but took the leap. The picture is gorgeous, with great clarity, wonderful color and nice sound even on its own. The 4K capability pops everything on the screen, and it makes most cable picture that are HD (1080p) look great. Sometimes the quality content isn’t quite there on a channel but the Sony does a admirable job of making the most of it. The slim cabinet and very minimal edge treatment allows for total use of the screen. We are very, very happy with this TV and glad to be back with Sony.

Finally an OLED with the brightness of an LED! This A90J has excellent picture quality. It gets pretty bright and while maintaining superb contrast OLED is known for. It has great shadow detail and the auto brightness limiter not as aggressive as found in previous models. It is a great improvement over my A9G. And even though I don't use the built-in speakers, they sound very good all things considered. That being said, the automatic motion handling definitely needs some work as it lags a bit and can really ruin your experience if you leave it on. I would recommend switching the motion flow to custom until sony can push an update to correct it. Other than that I believe it's worth everything penny.

Sometimes it is difficult to describe an image in words but start with Stunning, everytime I walk in the room WOW INKIE Black every last detail love it some newer content looks almost 3d. Fun because it is FAST snaps around everything it does have 1 gig service. Black screen picks up reflections likes a dark room. It is extremely bright!

Holy cow....this is a masterpiece of a TV!!! By far the best picture I’ve ever see on a TV. So I will first start by saying I purchased the CX OLED from LG first. I liked the Tv a lot and the color was amazing but the TV was too dim for my taste. This TV is significantly brighter!! This TV is able to push it panel a lot further than LGs due to Sony putting a heat stance behind the panel to reduce the heat. The Cognitive XR processor is next level. The processor picks and choose what to upscale based on what the human eye would focus on and it’s very noticeable!! This Tv definitely costs a pretty penny but if you are looking for the best of the best...this is it. Also Sony has introduced their own streaming platform called Bravia Core. With the signup of an account you get 10 free credits to redeem for most movies that Sony owns. This TV has an IMAX certified mode and you can redeem movies with that IMAX certification and the level of detail in Spider-Man Far From Home IMAX mode was insane.

This is a very quality high end tv that has great picture quality and sound. I really enjoy re-watching movies and shows and this tv bringing new life to them. Build quality is outstanding . The initial cost might make you hesitant, but once you buy it, you will think why did i hesitate . You get what you pay for. You get alot with this. Also the chip they use in this tv outstanding, sometimes it looks like your looking through a window. I was watch a very old movie and this tv made it look like it was amost 4k when it was only 480p. Very happy with purchase .

One of the best TVs on the market for this price range!! It gives excellent color depth and range. I researched this TV purchase a LOT before buying it and I love this choice! The best features; image quality, smart TV functions, remote, and sound quality. The only drawbacks are that although it its bright for an OLED its not a great choice for a bright room, and there are only 3 HDMI connections, only one is the new earc kind. But for my basement man-cave, this Sony 65 Inch BRAVIA XR OLED 4K Ultra HD TV is perfect! I highly recommend it!!

Wonderful picture. Colors are very vivid. Would have given it a 5 but am disappointed that the Geek Squad couldn't get by soundbar to work with it and my Sony receiver, both of them were also brand new products.

To say this is an excellent TV is an understatement! I have been very happy with this purchase. I've had Samsungs, LG's and Vizio's but none compare to the picture (and sound) of this TV. I HIGHLY recommend this TV

I love this TV. Visuals are beautiful. Easy to use as well. Great quality. Love the center channel as a speaker paired with SONY HT-A9 speaker system.

This tv i had to purchase to replace my panasonic vt50 plasma. It was very hard because that plasma Had a ridiculous picture especially when viewing blue ray disc and 1080p downloads. But technology caught up and needed to replace this unit. The sony A90j is the only tv that i see made not only a difference but impact. The vt50 to me kicked all other led4k's butt. And its only 1080p!!! Aint that sick. This sony is so vibrant that it stops me from doing things i needvto do when i start viewing it. I know that the new Q oled is out but i couldn't fork over 4,000 to see a 65 inch tv. A90j is a great investment if your looking for the best picture and not for nothing at times i need to turn down the brightness. Its that bright but an impact bright. Not all bright. When there is a black seen then there's light in the background it really shoots right at you. Very happy so far with this unit. Ive been watching it at best buy since it first came out and im so happy that i was able to get it. The samsung oled looked to imitation for my liking just did not do it even though it was actually less expensive or the same price. Hope this will help those looking to upgrade and willing to spend for the best without overkill. For a tv sound its really that good. Sometimes i shut down my home theater surround sound and use the tv sound. First time ive ever done that since childhood. Ive always had to get a soundbar or rely on my surround for listening. Won't regret this purchase at all. If not just wait a couple of yrs. For Q oled's price to come down. Good luck!

Just started using the Sony TV. Best TV I have ever watched. We will see how it holds up. Was a long time in coming because the first one I purchased was an open box deal marked as excellent. It never worked and two service calls later with new parts, it still did not work. While it never should have been sold as an excellent open box item in the first place, the manager of the store in Humble Texas did the right thing and made an exchange that satisfied me. The last three computers and the last five TVs I have purchased were all from Best Buy.

Been great for three years now. Beautiful screen. Only wish it had more onboard storage space. I’ve never been able to figure out how to expand the memory with an external USB drive.

Compared to an average flat panel TV, the speakers on this thing are absolutely ridiculous! I took the plunge with this TV for the possibility that I wouldn't need to use a sound bar with it. I really wanted to minimize the wires and accessories attached to the mounted TV. Feature lists for TV's are often full of total over hype on basically everything (especially the sound features). I was not holding my breath that the sound would actually be as good or better than a very good sound bar, but it is- easily. I knocked off one star because the price is kind of scary. I am also slightly intimidated to use the TV because it was so expensive. The OLED display looks absolutely dazzling, but the minute risk of burn in is utterly frightening after what I paid for this thing. I just worry too much probably. Features that work great and I often use on it are Chromecast, SteamLink, and playing media off my network storage. I have not had a satisfactory experience with AirPlay yet, but I don't know if that is the TV's fault. The TV looks and sounds amazing in my home. I am glad that I bought it.

Best in its class in everything. Worth the money. Easy to unbox/assemble (just two feet) for TV stands. GUI type interface for navigation is simple and straightforward and intuitive. The color/resolution is simply really great. Color contrasts second to none. Sony remains a leader in the category for me. OLED is the way to go. This TV is aesthetically pleasing and will match any decor and will enhance any viewing experience.

Love the color, quality, look, brightness and everything about this TV. Was expensive but love the picture.

Great tv, great looking design. The controller is looked much more premium than other Bravia TVs I’ve had, and it’s also back lit. Best tv I’ve ever seen with HDR. Everything is beautiful, and the brightest OLED I’ve ever seen. Would totally recommend.

Best picture of any TV- but will only play a Sony Soundbar First off- this tv has the best picture of any- including the new SamsungQN65s95B- their new quantum dot Oled. I have had both----below is my experience Replaced an LG 55 inch that was paired with my beloved Martin Logan Visionx soundbar and an SVS sub--with the sony 65A90J. The picture was fantastic- even in a bright room. Unfortunately I could get no sound in my soundbar, When I plugged my Vision X back into the LG to test--it was now dead. I then ordered Bose best sound bar the 900 and 700 sub- 2 grand . It worked great for 2 days then also no sound Lastly for grins I unhooked my Bose solo soundbar and it would work--but I could not turn off the tv---unless I unhooked the soundbar. At this point being so frustrated---I swapped on Best Buys advice for the new Samsung 65 inch quantum Oled- which was the same price as the Sony----and also got Samsungs best sound bar and sub. Immediately upon install I had the reverse situation. The sound was awesome- but the picture could not compare to the Sony 65A 90 J oled. Again spoke with Best Buy and their suggestion was to go back to the Sony A90J Oled- but marry it with a Sony Soundbar..... So I did.... All works great now. I will be honest that I preferred both the Bose and the Samsung over Sonys best- the HTA 7000 and the SW5 sub But at least all works great now. The A 90J has the best picture of any on the market---any, If you do not mind using a Sony Soundbar or even just the TV speakers--which are great---this is your TV For me in the end---the picture quality of all sports and movies blew the others away. Also no motion flicker or soap opera effect that i did get on the new Samsung. This TV is also plenty bright Maybe the first Sony A90J was just a lemon regarding the sound. I did burn through 3 different soundbars before settling on the Sony soundbar.Kudos to Best Buy for making this right. Again do not let my comments beliitle the picture quality It is beyond awesome

I wanted to wait a solid week before I wrote a review on this tv to give an honest and fair evaluation on this Sony 65” a90j tv. I had my eye on this tv for a very long time and had very high expectations going into it. This tv replaced a 16 year old 37” Panasonic plasma, which was an amazing tv to this day, but felt it was time for an upgrade. So here is my evaluation on this tv after owning it for one week. Design: I decided to mount this tv on the wall and it looks spectacular. There is a very small bezel that goes around the screen. It is also very thin. The design was well thought of and even when the tv isn’t on, it looks beautiful. Connectivity: I wanted to get the best connection I could get for this tv so I bought a high end Ethernet cable. I noticed that the picture wasn’t all that great. Come to find out that this tv has a 10/100 Ethernet port. I was a bit surprised as the standard today is 10/100/1000. Once I connected it to the 5Ghz network on my wireless modem, I could tell the picture was much better. Sound: the sound on this tv is really good. It states that the sound is supposed to be immersive and 3D surround, but I’m not getting that. Maybe I have the sound settings wrong, but I don’t get a surround sound feeling like you’d get from a sound bar or external speakers. Regardless, the sound is still amazing. Picture quality: this is where the tv shines. It took awhile to get the picture settings right, but once I did, the picture on this tv is crazy! I am a perfectionist and I tried very hard to find imperfections and I just couldn’t. The tv can get very bright. I was concerned about burn in, but I can’t even find image retention as compared to my previous plasma. The picture is extremely sharp. 4K and ultraHD is mind blowing. At times, the picture looks 3D. Colors pop out of the screen and makes you feel you are right there. Motion was a bit of an issue, but after I turned it off, it seemed to improve a great deal. You can get lost in the settings, but once you get them set to how you like it, the TV really is exceptional. Cost: this tv is expensive and it really comes down to how much you want to spend on a tv. It comes down to what you can afford and what your budget is. Personally, I saved up for this tv so I knew I was going to spend this much going in. Plus, I look at this as an investment as I expect to keep this tv for at least 10, if not 15 years. When I bought my 37” plasma 16 years ago, it cost $2,000. At that time, you had to be rich to afford an oled. It would’ve cost you $10,000-$15,000 for a 55” oled at that time. Today, the technology is way better. Again, it comes down to how much you want to spend. However, if you want the best of the best, then this is the tv. As I said earlier, I had very high expectations for this tv and it didn’t disappoint. It not only met them, but went above and beyond. After some tweaking, this tv is truly spectacular! Believe the hype, this tv is all that, plus more. Don’t take my word for it, check it out for yourself. Be ready to be blown away!
