Great TV and the picture quality is incredible. Love this TV and I would definitely recommend it especially for gaming for its cost, absolutely great. I run 4k gaming on my ps5 and couldn’t be happier.

I have had this TV for around 2 years now as my main tv in the living room. The picture is great, the sound is good from the tv for a flat screen (I mainly use a POLK sound bar with sub however), but was impressed by the overall clarity and bass the tv produces. No issues with the tv screen or speakers. In the day time you can see the reflection of the blinds which is annoying at times but it wouldn't stop me from buying this tv again.

I had a 2018 OLED that I really liked, but I also like some older movies and they often suffer from OLED crushed blacks. I'm super happy with the X90J, great 4K pic for modern content, gorgeous gaming on PS5 and no crushed blacks on older flims. I also really love the Google Play interface, I previously used Chromecast w/Google TV because of the interface but it could be a little... slow. Not with this TV, Google TV is snappy and responsive.

Great 4K tv!! The color is amazing and seeing that it's 120fps it's great for my PS5. The Google tv is easy to navigate and use all my streaming apps with it. Easy to set up out of the box!! Sounds is fine but with out surround sound no tv sound is great! Voice commands on the remote work great!

This smart TV has the excellent features video and sound quality. The connectivity options with Apple and Android phones are good too. Also allows to mirror games like Call of duty etc. while you are playing it on iPhone Mobile. All features are good except, the glitches with the intensity setting. The intensity keeps falling to max on its own, even if I configure it to work with lower intensity.

I love this TV. Good quality, easy to set up and adjust. I wasn't a Sony fan until I bought this TV.

I'm no expert. And coming from an 11 year old Vizio I suspect just about anything today will look comparatively great. What I do know is I have a couple much newer Vizio, smaller screen size, in other rooms in the house and the Google Smart interface is far superior the the Vizio, at least the one of a couple years ago. The picture is an amazing improvement, naturally, with amazing blacks and contrast. There is a good amount of reflection on the screen, cutting room lights, window glare and repositioning the screen helps. I not a gamer but the Super Bowl action was great, the X90J seems to handle action on the screen well. The on board sound is marginal but ARC/eARC works great with only a few hiccups with my AV receiver for the surround sound system. Those problems may be due to other issues I'm sussing out. There were no problems with setup, either TV or wall mount, and I've found no screen flaws, no dead pixels, etc. I live alone and this 65" screen was roughly 30 lbs. lighter than the 55"Vizio it replaced, thankfully. And with the unit on sale I really think it was a great value. No doubt there are higher end LCD and OLED units out there at admittedly a premium price. But for my dollar, this unit has a pretty good "bang for the buck" and cost/benefit ratio. I'd recommend it to any but the most discerning buyers with much deeper pockets.

Great tv. It’s like it was made for the ps5. Love the picture and the refresh rate.

Has been the best TV. I went through 3 Samsungs in a year because of some known issue. LG also has lasted but built in speakers are better with the Sony..

This has been a great TV to have over the past year. The quality of the picture is great. The darks are dark and the color pops.

First thing, I want to appreciate SONY for the quality of the picture.. I think SONY got one of its best processor to this model BRAVIA XR X90J Series. The Image upscaling in good. 4k HDR is lot brighter than compared to my other TV. I got this to primarily use this for watching movies over the streaming services. I rarely use this for live TV. The HDMI 2.1 connectivity to my laptop is good. I personally feel there is room for improvement in this area. I wanted to talk about the BRAVIA CORE APP that came pre-installed on this unit. I got 5 credits on this unit that I can use them to redeem 5 movies on the BRAVIA CORE APP. I was surprised while watching a movie on this app, as it had stunning image quality compared to the quality of the same movie on a different streaming platform on the same device. I was recommended this TV by a best buy associate, I would like to thank him. I am 100% satisfied with this product. I had it only 4 stars instead of a 5 because of 2 reasons . 1- The internal memory I had on this TV is only 4 GB, I think this is a less space available for a TV in the recent days. So to install other apps from the play store I ended up deleting few that can pre-installed. 2. Google TV default media player: I am really disappointed when I trying to connect my external USB drive to watch the content on my Drive, my drive hardly have 10 GB of multiple file that I backed up from my Camera and wanted to play them on my TV, the default media player explorer of Google TV could not read the full list of files quickly, It is trying to process the folder content forever, yes forever -- It took approximately 2 hrs for the default media explorer to read my 10 GB USB drive. When I started to re-search I came to know this is an existing problem with Google TV OS. So, I ended up installing other media player from the playstore on my TV and got my 10GB drive read in less than 2 minutes. I think Google TV needs improvement in this area.

I replaced my Tizen OS TV with this Google TV powered Sony X90J. I'm very happy with the awesome picture, the ease of set up, and even the sound, although I choose to use my Klipsch external speakers. Google TV is a much better experience for me than Tizen, and it responds fast on this TV. Voice commands are working great. Small, annoying issues with the Karafun App, but those are probably on the App developer, not Sony or Google. The remote has more buttons than I've figured out a use for, but I've adapted to it quickly in less than 24 hours. I'm even enjoying the built-in screensaver and Living Decor" App photos, so I'm leaving it on all day. I haven't fully tested casting from my phone yet, but my first try went acceptably well. I was a little surprised there was no Bluetooth connection available for headphones, but it isn't that important to me. I recommend this TV.

I bought this tv mainly for Netflix and gaming on my series X. First mistake: Plug in your hdmi to the port that says 4K 120fps!!! Second: Do the screen color tests to check for dead pixels. I did find two dead pixels which is a bummer but I didn’t want to go through the process of returning and getting another one. Overall, besides the dead pixels (which I never even notice unless there is plain colors showing// shows like big mouth) the 4K 120fps is amazing. It’s smooth and crisp on the series X and even YouTube is great and noticeably faster than my prior 4K tv. The darks are DARK. I love it. I’m closer to my tv about 6 foot and the sound is amazing for me. Pair this tv up with a swivel mount and you’re in for a great viewing experience.

Must have for PS5 Gaming, specifications built into TV make this a match made in heaven with your Sony PS5 gaming console! Best picture and sound ive had before. Will always consider this Model television from Sony from now on. Dont forget your hdmi 2.1 cables! I hook both a comluter tower and PS5 to this tv! Works perfect!

I purchased the Sony - 65" Class BRAVIA XR X90J Series LED 4K UHD Smart Google TV about five weeks ago, and to date it has been a great experience. I finally make the purchase after it went on sale. I do not use the smart TV capabilities, I use a fire stick for all my apps. Pro: * Picture (outstanding colors and clarity). Of course the picture clarity and sharpness is only as good as the source. Comcast TV comes in a bit dark and the clarity depend on the broadcast signal. * Set-up - easy, menu is logical and easy to navigate * Remote (however, the keys are not backlit) Con * Speakers (the speakers are adequate, but there is no treble/base adjustment function). I'm not a gamer so I can't speak to that functionality. I did purchase a Sony 4K Blu-Ray player because we have a number of regular Blu-Ray movies. This Sony TV is great for watching and listening to movies.

We purchased this as an upgrade to the XBR-55" 2017 TV we had in our home theater. The picture is STUNNING - and better still, Sony's upscaling technology is still the best out there. Let's face it, unless you're watching Netflix or using a 4K Media Play to stream 4K, you're watching 720 HDTV and it needs to be upscaled to be 1080 (4K) - Sony is the master of this. One point of caution if you have a home theater like ours where the TV is not the switch for all your devices - the cleverly-built set-up will replace your AV system as the controller. Sony doesn't document this - nor how to fix it - but a quick call with Sony Tech Support allowed me to determine how to recable my home theater to be compatible (hint, it's only moving one cable!). However, as a smart TV on its own, this one is impressive. And properly paired with our STR-ZTA (Sony) AV receiver, it's an impressive home theater. You will not believe the quality of the picture - oh, did I mention it's also cheaper than many of the competitors?? We're used to paying a premium for Sony - even better!

Fantastic picture quality, life like colors, it's unbelieveable!

First of all I did my research before getting this tv. I wanted something for a ps5 with variable refresh rate, good image quality and overall best tv for the money. I ended up between LG nano90 and Sony x90j. I chose the Sony because overall best image quality, better blacks. Even thought it was a little more expensive, I’m very happy with my Sony x90j. From imagine quality to sound I’m very pleased, also they released the firmware which activate variable refresh rate which is good for gaming. On another note bestbuy matched price the tv which was 100 cheaper the next week, and that improved my buying experience with them. The only negative thing is how laggy the UI can get and that’s because of the ads that can’t be turned off. I really dislike how my sister tv runs faster and is way too inferior compared to my Sony tv. Hopefully Sony improves the UI in the future. But if you are looking to spend less than $1500 for a tv that is not OLED, I recommend the Sony x90j.

... the sound quality of this tv to be quit good! The sound bar we purchased along with it didn't fair as well, so we returned it. As wonderful as this tv is, there is one thing we do not like, & that is when we want to watch cable stations, we now have to use 2 remotes; which is irritating. Your required to press the 'tv' tab on the Sony, then pick up the Cox remote in order to change channels. The Sony remote is basically useless once you turn on cable. We'll get use to it eventually. But I have to admit, when we aren't watching cable stations the Sony remote is very good; like having simple shortcuts to YouTube, etc. Youtube through Cox is terrible. But the YouTube app that came with this tv is fantastic! So this makes any frustration worth it. We are very pleased with this tv purchase. So much so that we are seriously talking abt dropping cable bc of the great apps & benefits this wonderful tv offers.
