We are sorry to hear that the Bravia XR8B OLED is appearing too dark in your room. For better visibility in bright environments, we recommend disabling the "Power Saving" mode in the Eco Dashboard and turning off the "Ambient Light Sensor" under Picture settings to prevent the TV from automatically dimming. Additionally, setting the "Peak Luminance" to High and using "Vivid" or "Standard" mode can significantly boost the screen's brightness.

I was split between the OLED and the MiniLED versions but ultimately chose this as my living room doesn't have too much natural light. The contrast is lovely and the viewing angles are great too. The vibrance holds even when watching from an 80 degree angle which is nice if you have a big room. The sound doesn't distort even if bump it up to a very high level. Rating the Brightness as 4/5 as the MiniLED is clearly brighter than this, but you won't be disappointed with this buy at all.

The clarity of sound and picture was impressive. Compared to other tvs on display. The Bravia was the best in class. At home, the Bravia fit easily on the adjustable wall mount bracket aleady in place from my 45 inch, 15 year old Mitsubishi. The set up for volume and picture on the Bravia was pretty easy with a lot of available adjustments. The price was right on the Bravia and I took advantage of setting up a Best Buy account. I am very satisfied with the product and sales experience at Best Buy. My next purchase will be a washer and dryer and Travis will be my go to for that purchase.

And the user interface is simple and quick. It uses the Google TV operating system, both built on Google's Android platform, allowing access to apps and streaming services from the Google Play Store. The sound is very good, but better if you buy a soundbar by Sony or other brand. The remote is great too. The TV’s brightness is very good; it’s best watching in a darker room. For the price it’s a great value!

The QLEDs are ridiculously bright, especially with the lights out for a movie. This OLED has such rich colors that pop without blinding you in the process. I watched a Tron Ares promo and was blown away by the deep black and the way red just came to life.

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have to say this K65Xr8B is a beautiful tv..Picture quality is top notch..Blacks are bold and wow do they drop your jaw..Setting are a bit sensitive but once it is dialed in You will be amazed..Most streaming is not 4k so some picture not up to par..Not Tvs Fault..A 4k Blu ray player is incredible..I watched Enter The Dragon in 4k with a panasonic UB 420 and the colors popped like nothing i have seen..For the the Black Friday price i am Blown away..Oled is the way to go..Sound is good but add a stereo with bass boomer And you are at the Theatre...

Excellent TV At Good Price

I was a little worried before purchase why a current year (2025) 65” Sony OLED TV would be on such a significant sale vs other Sony’s that were not, but after getting AI to do a bunch of research on that subject, nothing concerning came up. Been very pleased with the purchase. Sony is the best at producing lifelike color, and the detail is amazing.

I was worried about using the mount instead of a wall mount but they are good quality and my tv is stable. The responsiveness between consoles is great. Visuals are amazing, the darkest darks. When there is no feed on the black screen you cant even tell its on aside from the logo. The glare is minimal on the tv also!

The price of the Sony 65" tv was excellent and the credit I received was enough to off set the total coast of the Quest 3. TV arrives in huge box that stands on its own. Cut the two straps and lift the box off. EZ. The instructions are OK..but since pictures only were not perfect. Once set up the on-screen set up is easy to follow. Cool to sit where I usually watch, point remote, and have sound optimized for that spot. Picture is amazing. Especially noticeable on baseball games. When watching our TV series the pix quality is there, but we begin to take it for granted (until we watch on any another TV). Happy with experience and the TV.

I chose Sony back in the mid-1960s and I have upgraded every few years. I moved our six-year-old 65" Bravia upstairs and installed this one in our family room. What a great difference six years makes! I do a lot of photography and I am attuned to good pictures when I see them; I absolutely love the pictures on this set. It's the most life-like of them all.
