It was time to buy a state of the art TV for home. I was introduced to the Sony 65" Bravia OLED 4k HDR TV. It now sits in my home above the fireplace. We continue to be amazed by the visual experience we have every time it is turned on. It's worth every penny we spent on the system.

Debated with the comparable LG TV since they make the panels for Sony, but decided on the Sony because the built in speakers and subwoofer. Picture quality is outstanding, and with more releases in 4k and HDR, really seeing the quality differences over 1080p broadcasted over FIOS.

The picture quality is incredible. My only complaint has been that the TV was delivered with two small dimples on the screen surface. I contacted Best Buy and they exchanged it the very next weekend. Kudos to them. Since the replacement, it's been loved my everyone in the household

I absolutely love this particular TV. The picture is simply amazing and the products that are pre-loaded are so varied that you have excellent quality choice experiences.

We have owned this Sony TV for a year now. Never had a problem with it. The picture quality is amazing. Our cable company doesnt broadcast in 4K but the picture quality is upgraded through this TV and wow! This was an expensive TV but worth the money in our opi ion.

Was hesistant to buy this TV but after watching the avengers trailer on it while it was on display I couldn’t go home without it. It has been months since this purchase and I am always thankful to have made the switch to this high quality definition.

My family was going to buy a Samsung qled, which was compared in Magnolia to a Sony. No guest ion the sony had the best picture, but the 1K price premium between the two units. Staff demonstrated the two units and was helpful to my family in selecting the sony unit.

It doesn't get any better than this unless it gets bigger! The 65'' Sony OLED is an incredible marriage of technology and beauty. Yes, you can actually reach into the picture or at least you feel like you can.

Never thought I would spend this much for a tv but I appreciate everything about it!

This TV replaced my Pioneer 50 Inch TV that needed a Display Board after I had the TV for 11 years. Best BUY Recommended this TV over the LG(OLED) that was $1000 Less But Better Picture for action and sport shows.. I was impressed with the TV for viewing pleasure.

Best tv on the market. Make sure you feed it what it wants. Calibration is a must.

It is very early as I have only had the new Sony 65" OLED operating for 48 hours. However, if things continue in the future as they have in the last 48 hours, I will be a very happy customer. The installers were great, and at this early stage, the TV seems great.

Exceeds my expectations. Glad I went with the 65”. Everyone who watches 4K content is amazed at the picture quality. In addition, the built in speakers eliminate the need for a separate sound bar. This helps with the sticker price being as high as it is.

I’ve owned LG OLEDs and now the Sony A1E . The lg’ s are very nice but the Processing in the Sony A1E is the best . The extra money you spend on the Sony is for its 4K upscaling much less of a chance of image retention then the lg counter parts . Great tv , and I recomend you get amazing HDMI cables for it to complete the package . Amazing picture quality with a clear picture that other TVs come close to but can’t match

First and foremost, I want to say this is the best TV I have ever owned. Its picture quality is above and beyond any TV I have ever viewed before. I have had a Sony LCD (6/10), a Panasonic Plasma (8/10) and Sony LED (7/10) before this TV and it blows all of them away. If you are familiar with the old Pioneer plasmas that revolutionized 'black levels' - this TV puts them to shame and I loved those TVs. ATTENTION NEW OWNERS: To get HDR, you must use HDMI 2 or 3 and you have to configure your input for 'Enhanced format'. Your TV will naturally be setup in "Standard" mode. To get the best picture quality, I would recommend searching "Sony A1E Calibration Settings". Your best native picture option would be tweaking "Cinema Pro". Picture Quality: Gorgeous. It is crystal clear and it's a perfect balance of bright and accurate colors. You have never seen black levels like this. Watching shows or movies with a lot of night scenes will look like a whole new experience. I have an Xbox One X connected to it, which is an excellent source in that it does HDR gaming, 4K gaming and has a 4K HDR Blu-Ray player. I would recommend Cinema Pro as your picture mode for the best results. I have tested numerous games, numerous Blu-Ray movies, Netflix HDR/UHD and it's simply gorgeous for all for them. Note: This screen is glossy, so you will want to ensure you have blackout blinds or your viewing area is dark for maximum picture quality. I have watched it during the daytime and I had no significant issues but you will see reflections time to time. If you have a window or source of light directly across from the TV, you will notice it. I would encourage ALL light sources go behind your viewing area. If you want lighting behind the TV (recommended), look into "bias lighting kits" such as Philips Hue. Most modern TVs will have some form of gloss to reflect light from being absorbed in the panel and hindering picture quality. Sound Quality: I have a surround system but have heard nothing but good things about the TV speakers. I pulled up YouTube and listened to some music and it sounded great. It certainly won't replace your surround system or even your soundbar likely, but it has some of the best audio for a TV out of the box. If you're mounting this on a wall with limited space, you will be happy with the audio quality. Menu: This TV comes equipped with Android TV, which, by itself, is amazing (see Nvidia Shield). However, Sony has let their customers down by making it too bloated where it is a poorly performing menu system. When you finally do get to your TV settings, it's easy to navigate, but can be very slow. To accommodate this, I have my Android system in Developer mode and have shut off a lot of processes from running when the TV is turned on. If you are frustrated with the menu system, I would look more into my suggestions above. Overall Design: Beautiful. This panel is no thicker than 1" and it is well designed. Your stand is your TV input, which does give it more thickness towards the center. If you're mounting this, you will hardly notice. Its bezel around the screen is extremely minimal and doesn't detract from your viewing experience. My viewing area is straight-on, however, it does have decent viewing angles from what I could tell. Summary: I would highly recommend this TV. Your picture quality is only as good as your sources, so make sure if you are spending this much for a TV that you look into devices to maximize its potential. This is encouraged for your TV provider as well, unless you're hooking up an antenna. No matter what you're watching; sports, gaming, movies, TV shows, you will be pleased with the picture and audio quality this TV provides.
