Worst TV I ever bought

Owned for 4 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this TV August 2024 and it worked great until December 2024 now at least once a week I have to do a power cycle on it. The Google Assistant has a mind of its own. I’ll tell it to turn itself down the next thing I know it showed me videos of crazy ladies dancing run away from this TV.

We regret to hear that you are experiencing issues with your BRAVIA 3 TV and the Google assistant doesn't seem to work or reacts incorrectly. This is definitely not the buying experience that we want our customer to have and I can definitely see how this would be frustrating for you. We want to make sure that you’re taken care of and go through some troubleshooting with you to make sure your TV is great. One of the possible solutions to the issue is by updating the firmware of the TV for optimum performance. The software update improves the general performance of the unit and includes key features, applications, and bug fixes. Please make sure to try that first as well by going to Help → Select Status & Diagnostics → System Software Update → Software Update.
If you haven't yet, we do have troubleshooting steps that may help resolve some issues, especially if the Google Assistant is reacting incorrectly or it comes up even when you don’t say "Ok Google" on this link here: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/articles/00225730

Would not recommend Best Buy

Customer service makes no effort to resolve this issue, get transferred to various departments being told I need to speak with someone else. After being on the phone for an hour I’m told there’s nothing they can do. Absolutely terrible.

Good tv/Didn't Last
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice TV but the wifi drops frequently and the backlight/LEDs went out after 5 years and its been hard to get it repaired in a timely fashion. Might just get another TV.
