First OLED TV - Zero disappointment!

Football games and movies look amazing. I had the TV for a month and I can’t find any complaints about it. Sound from the TV has been the best of all my TVs. I tried to plugged in an old sound bar I had but I haven’t been able to make it work yet. It may be incompatible, I am not sure yet. Anyway, I highly recommend this TV to anyone looking for a great picture and a great size for a big room!

The picture quality is stunning with perfect blacks, incredible contrast, and very natural colors. Movies look cinematic, and even regular HD content is upscaled beautifully. Gaming is excellent with 120Hz, HDMI 2.1, and very low input lag. The Google TV interface is fast and easy to use, and the overall build quality feels premium. Expensive, but 100% worth it. Easily one of the best TVs I’ve ever owned. Highly recommended.

Sound is good even without a soundbar for a medium sized living room. Picture is already really clean. Between brands, I’m definitely a fan of Sony and LG. The crazy thing is I pretty much got this 77” for the price of my 65” from 2 years ago. But OLED is the way to go. Only complaint is the UI is a little laggy but I wouldn’t say all TVs have the best response time.

We understand your concern that the brightness is not sufficient for your room, which often happens in environments with a lot of ambient daylight. For maximum picture performance in bright rooms, please ensure the Light Sensor setting is turned on and try setting the picture mode to Vivid or adjusting the Peak Luminance setting to High. While TV audio is optimized for thinness, many users pair their OLED with a dedicated soundbar, which will significantly improve the audio experience.

It is up to date with all the modern connections, but I wish it had some legacy connection for my older equipment such as S-video connection and RCA connections. We're pleased to hear the 4K picture looks great and you found the installation easy! Regarding movies in dark lighting, that can often be improved with a few adjustments. Please try navigating to your Picture Settings menu and check your Gamma setting—we recommend setting it to 0 instead of the default -2 for better detail visibility in shadows. Also, ensure the Light Sensor and any Eco Mode settings are turned off, as they can dim the screen in dark rooms.

I can’t tell major difference between this and 8 II. The TV has good colors and different settings that will really increase the viewings.
