I recently purchased this camera for my Morocco trip and am thoroughly impressed! This camera offers exceptional image quality, is easy to use, and has some standout features that make it perfect for both beginners and intermediate photographers. The battery lasts a lot longer than I had expected. This camera needs ultra high speed memory card so make sure you get the right one.

Best camera ever! The Sony A6700 packs incredible performance into a small body. Image quality is sharp and vibrant, autofocus is fast and accurate, and the 4K video features are top-tier—even offering 120fps slow motion. It’s perfect for both photographers and content creators. The new AI-powered tracking and improved handling make it feel like a pro-level camera without the bulk. Highly recommended!

This camera has amazing quality and is extremely beginner friendly. There are a lot of buttons on this camera and a lot of settings that don't explain themselves. But for the beginner who wants to take good quality photos, the auto mode does a really good job. For video, while the camera does have the ability to record in 4k at 24,30,60, and 120 frames, the camera does overheat and will shut off, can realistically expect about 30 minutes at 60 frames in 4k. If you are a streamer, this camera should be able to stream in HD at 60 frames for as long as you need, also the camera can connect to your pc via usb-c and will ask if you are using it as a web cam. One thing i do find annoying is that even though the camera has a touch screen, the camera does not come with a screen protector. For how much the camera cost, and how often you will be using the screen, it seems like a weird oversight to not also include a screen protector.

Great photos and video capabilit. Downsize it’s that get hot fast but with the right accessories it can be fixed.

A great mirrorless camera at an affordable price. As a prior Canon user, it has taken some time to adjust to the interface. I'd recommend you check out Youtube videos for easy intro to the camera. Photos and videos so far have been fantastic! Very impressed with the quality. Only con is the inability to select multiple photos/videos on the camera to delete OR wish the Creators' app allowed you to delete off the camera.

Amazing quality and absolutely love the auto focus. Only down side for me was after around 15 to 20 minutes of continuous video it would over heat. That being said, plan on trying out the new model that’s coming soon!

Purchased for my husband for Christmas. He is going on an Elk hunt in September, with a group of family members and close friends. He needed something to catch all the action in the wild as well as the memories made at camp each night. Versatile and sturdy camera for travel. Plan to use it on all of our future vacations. Light weight, compact, can even track our son coming in for a landing at Dulles Airport. We have been Sony videocam owners since they were first introduced. The best one so far!

For the price and feature set, it’s a standout choice for hybrid shooters on a budget — strong enough for professional-level output, yet compact and user-friendly for beginners. While the menu system can be a bit complex and IBIS isn’t quite best-in-class compared to some rivals, the overall performance, autofocus, and video toolset make it a smart investment for photographers and videographers alike heading into 2026.

Amazing quality and easy to use I've been using this camera for a few weeks now and it really makes professional picture easy.

Watched a ton of YouTube videos before buying a new camera and kept coming back to the Sony A6700. Historically been a Canon loyalist but was not liking the limited lens options on their mirrorless cameras and also wanted something that was flexible without breaking the bank. The A6700 has been great for photos and video. I've been able to add a number of additional lenses to my collection on their standard e-mount format so have had no issues getting cost effective lenses to expand my options. Very easy to use, great quality pictures, and shooting in log for video has been awesome. Many advanced capabilities as well that are ready and available when I need them. Exceptionally pleased with this purchase! Why did I go APS-C vs Full Frame? At then end of the day both get me amazing resolution and APS-C is far less expensive to shoot in. I only feel like I'm giving up a little in the wide angle due to crop factor however more rhan make up for it on zoom as it gives me a lot more zoom. Would I do it again? Absolutely!

Great camera, much needed upgrade from the Canon M50. Battery life is amazing, lasts basically all day. Love the ability to set presets and switch between photo and video easily.

I’ve been using the Sony Alpha 6700 with the E 18-135mm lens for a few weeks now, and I’m thoroughly impressed. As someone who shoots both photos and video, this camera hits the sweet spot between performance, portability, and versatility.

The Sony A6700 has been a fantastic camera for the past month. Overall it has major pros with a few cons that may or break your decision. The ability to have photography and video capture has allowed me to use it as a streaming device while also practicing still photos from time to time. Even as a APSC camera, I think it’s well versed and will last a very long time before switching to a full frame. My biggest con that I experience that has ruined the perfect camera experiance is the overheating. Shooting anything at 4K60 for over 20 minutes has led to overheating. This is when recording indoors. Outdoors in direct sunlight at 4k60 at about a good Colorado summer has led to an overheat in about 10 minutes. Testing it out with a ulanzi fan that can read tempature, it starts to turn off at around 38-40 degree Celsius. A external fan may help not overheat the camera or prolong its time before overheating. At 4k30 it runs hot at long streaming times and long video shoots. It hasn’t overheated on me yet(Finger crossed). If you looking for strictly video with that ability without overheating, take look into a comparison of the A6700 and FX30 as they carry the same sensor but one has a built in fan. Overall a great camera that needs some external help in some settings

Stepping up from an a6000 I love this camera. Everything works as expected. Really loving the new autofocus it really sticks to a subject. Slightly better picture quality and just faster overall performance.

One of the best camera in the market. Connectivity and technology is great. Sharp and Crisp images and great quality videos.

Its been a fantastic camera, if you are a photographer you’ll love it, if uou shoot videos its great for that as well. Only drawback, it overheats and doesn’t have duel card slots.

Coming from Canon to Sony and back again to sony, the ease of use and clear shots thanks to the advanced auto focus make it almost impossible to get a bad shot.
