I ordered a black unit, but Best Buy sent me a used silver one with a third-party camera battery. When I raised the issue, a Best Buy employee said they would charge a restocking fee despite it being their mistake. After escalating to a manager, they arranged for pickup from another location. I drove 45 mins each way, only to be told it was out of stock, even though the app showed three available. After more back-and-forth, I opted for home delivery, but once again, I received an open-box item. The package arrived wide open, missing manuals, and with the display flipped out. This was the worst buying experience I've had with Best Buy. Ticket Reference ID: 352064928.

Purchased brand new and received a used camera. Settings were already established and in Spanish. Camera strap was unraveled and a charger that usually doesn’t come with the A7CII brand new was included inside the box. I shipped it back and Best Buy still processed a restocking fee and am currently in a headache of a process trying to get a full refund. Honestly wouldn’t buy cameras from Best Buy as I see this is a common headache for other customers

I recently purchased the Sony a7C II and have been very satisfied with the camera’s performance. The compact full-frame design was a key reason for my purchase, and the image quality has met my expectations in everyday use. Autofocus is fast and reliable, especially for still photography, and the camera performs well across different lighting conditions. Image quality is excellent, with good detail and consistent color output. The updated controls and handling are also an improvement over earlier compact Sony models. One drawback is the recent price increase, which makes the camera somewhat expensive compared to when it was first released. The reason is unclear, could be recent tarifs. Overall, I am satisfied with the purchase and the capabilities the Sony a7C II offers. I need to say that it was a smooth buying experience from BestBuy...

I got a used camera... This is what the menu looks like when I turn it on. The box was clearly worn and the paperwork looked like it was jammed in the box. Plus there was literally nothing to protect it during shipping.

So far I am enjoying this camera. I am camera newbie but with the auto mode I look a bit skilled. I primarily video my parrot using the 4k at 30fps and it's been perfect for the need. I bought the Sony memory card to go with it and so far I've filled it and dumped it 30 times at least and not a single hiccup. The bird autofocus is very good which keeps him in focus pretty well. I was using the FX3 prior to this doing 4k 60fps but the bird autofocus in this makes me look like a skilled photographer. The FX3 is a nice camera and when they add in the AI chip it'll be hard camera to beat but for now it's back in the bag and this is my go to. I also own the A7RV but this seems to have better low light performance so I find I'm reaching for the A7CII for most situations. It's also tiny for a full frame camera but for some reason I find it easy to grip even with big hands. I seem to like to have my index finger waving around in the air ready to push the next needed button so the remaining 3 fingers seem to grip it perfectly. The photos have also been fantastic and I don't find the viewfinder or screen lacking for my needs. Auto focus is doing the work so all I need to do is make sure the framing is right. I wear glasses and the view finder still works for a quick photo to let me know quite a bit of info, including if my photo will be framed how I want. Kind of expensive but will use both full frame and apsc e-mount lenses. It's a full frame camera though so you'll get your best image with full frame lenses, or so some say. I shoot a lot in apsc mode with full frame lenses for that extra bit of zoom.

This camera is literally an A7IV in a smaller body. If youre looking for the latest autofocus and specs in a smaller and more portable body look no further. CONS - Only One SD card slot, You will sometimes get an error when you use an aftermarket battery, when running 4k recording it can get a little warm, screen and viewfinder are not the best (I have the a7siii so im a little spoiled when it comes to a view finder and LCD screen. If you can get by these, then this is an awesome camera! SNAPPY autofocus, and AMAZING in low light. The low light in this camera rivals my A7Siii in low light. I shoot for a lot of low light events and this camera has come in clutch every time. I chose the silver one because it gives off that vintage look and ive always wanted one that looked like this.

Love this camera. My two areas of photography are sport and travel. This camera helps with both. It’s the perfect compact camera for travelling. Small, lightweight, but packed with tech like Sony’s amazing autofocus. Although I would mainly view this as a travel or street photography camera, I have this as a secondary camera with a small wide lens for stadium shots to tell the story and portraits of players pre and post match when you’re up close and personal. Also I have to mention that I love how aesthetic the silver is - giving it that old fashioned camera look.

I carry a shoulder bag with me everywhere I go and this camera has become my go to travel companion. Slimmer and lighter than a DSLR it fits perfectly in my bag and I hardly notice I'm carrying it. At 32mp this is a great camera for travel, street and landscape. Paired with the Sony 20mm f1.8 G wide angle lens you can expect nothing less than stunning results. It does have only one card slot but it has new, built in software for retrieving images from corrupt cards. As you'll see in any review on youtube it does have the same software as the Alpha 7V. It doesn't come with a guide to the camera so be prepared to hunt down videos on Youtube.

I recently upgraded to a Sony a7cii and I am not disappointed. It’s easier to use and the touch screen is an amazing feature I did not know I wanted. The images look so high quality and what amazes me that it’s smaller and lighter than my Sony a6300. I recommend this camera for any level of performance.

About 18 months ago I sold the two Sony body's I owned... A6400 and A7Riii. I was never impressed with the 6400 but the A7Riii produced great images. I took that body to Hawaii and captured some awesome pictures. That being said... did not like the headlining menu and was a chore to use. So I kept several Sony lens for some reason and been using mainly Canon ever since. I was watching a few YouTube videos on the new A7CII and A7CR. Decided to buy the A7CII and give it a try... so happy I did. This camera is 100% amazing and it is so small and so much easier to use that my old Sony camera's. Only wish is a joystick but the touch pad and the perfect autofocus makes up for this. Images are sooo good. I have just a few Sony lens and they are very sharp. I also had the Sigma MC11 adaptor and can use my old Canon EF glass. EF glass is awesome with this camera and focus is fast. For example Canon ef 85mm 1.8 is sooo good with this camera. Also, Canon 16-35 L F4 looks great too. I am now going to sell some more of my old stuff and invest in the Sony 20-70 and what looks to be the amazing Sony 70-200 f4 ii. Between these two lens and this body... should be a perfect travel set up. Not leaving Canon but wow this is an amazing camera.

I have been a long time Sony user and I have to say, out of all of the Sony cameras I have, this one is the one I've been grabbing the most! The small form factor makes it just that much easier to take around, throw in my sling bag, and keep on me as my every day carry camera. The 33MP Full-Frame sensor creates sharp images and allows a lot of head room for cropping if (1) you have a prime lens and couldn't get close enough to your subject, or (2) you plan to use an APS-C lens with this camera which can make this set up even SMALLER! Using APS-C lenses will bring the megapixels down to 14MP but that is still PLENTY of resolution to post on social media and for comparison, the Sony ZV-E1 only has 12 MP and that camera is comparable to this one. I bought this mostly to take on trips for more casual photos while maintaining a VERY high quality image, but I also shoot video and this will be an amazing C camera to my A and B cameras that I already own as it shoots 4K video at 10bit 4:2:2! Although this camera wont be my main professional camera that I'll take for my paid work, I still think it's more than capable to handle most workloads!

I've had an A7III for about 5 years but it never inspired me to use it. The A7CII Solves that because of its portability and all the dails it has. Plus the images and videos coming out of this thing are unreal. It's the best camera I've ever owned.

Really enjoying this camera! If your looking for a camera that shoots 4k and in 10 bit this shoots amazing quality video! Also has great autofocus features and shoots fantastic photos.! Also love all the customization you can do on the dials.

Basically a compact A7IV with a better autofocus. Only one single sd card slot so dont think this is for professioanl isage, but it's a better buy than the APSC cameras Sony has

Great lightweight size. I upgraded from an a6700 so this is pretty much identical except full frame and updated technology. Couldn’t be happier. Quick autofocus. Great colors.
