I went to Kenya safari tour after buying the camera. I didn't have much of training. Despite that, the photographs came out really well and I am pleased with the product

I looked at both this , this V and the new VI and based on the removal of the Neutral Density filter and change from f 1.8 to f2.8 @24mm from the V to VI model I felt the older V was better. The ND filter gives a 3 stop drop in light for fireworks and long (~2sec) exposures so you don't get an all white picture F1.8 means getting pics lit by a candle tho that is pushing the focus (I switched to manual focus) This is no substitute for a pro camera because has a 1 inch sensor but if you understand it is a really good point and treat it as such you will be satisfied

Love this camera...downside is it's expensive but worth it. Still learning the specs/function... a little complicated for someone who is not a camera savvy like me.

Liked this little powerhouse of a camera. Takes great photos and 4K video. This camera lacks much telephoto reach and the lcd is not touchscreen. Both of these issue were correct in the latest version (vi).

This is the best compact camera I have ever used. No long zoom but a big sensor for amazing detail and low light use. Image quality is excellent.

I had the RX100 mark 4 before this and this mark 5 has better auto focus and slo motion. I use it for video when I can't use my DSLR. Great little camera!

This is a great camera, I'm surprised how well it handles even though it's 2020, the 4k videos look amazing.

Great picture quality and build quality. The form factor is just a little too big. It is not easy to carry around in the pocket unless you wear really baggy pants. Even then it is a huge bump in your pocket.

After doing lots of research, we decided to buy this product. It has not disappointed, and I am excited to take this camera on our vacations.

When I don’t Want to carry my big DSLR this is a perfect choice. I enjoy sharp pictures and this fits the bill - you won’t go wrong.

This little guy packs quite the punch! stabilization, selfie flipscreen, 4K, 20mp sensor. My wife and I use this all the time!

This is an amazing camera, I own a sony a6000 mirrorless camera, but the pictures and video quality from my rx 100 v beats the a6000 in every aspect. The a6000 with a faster lens is much snappier at night, but with the right settings you can get great shots from rx 100 v of moving subjects in low light, use the built in tilt-able flash and you can have perfect pictures in any scenario. Overall very happy with the purchase and got it at a great price from Best Buy!

It is an improvement from an earlier unit. It is much more flexible and the quality of the pictures is amazing.

Amazing camera does everything I want it to do. Battery life isnt the best but I just bought another one.

My son wanted a camera to do special work related pictures/videos. He loves his camera.

Photo quality is great. Long distance is a challange. As usual a Sony product is somewhat more complicated than necessary. Overall great vacation camara.
