My entry point into macro photography, decent build quality and photo quality, works great with Sony a7-3, definitely enjoying new perspective and price is certainly reasonable

This is the better of the two FE macro lenses Sony makes in the FE mount. It's a G lens as well so it's a high quality lens. The 90mm focal length gives you room to work and it silently focuses down to one to one. The sharpness is very apparent on my A7r M2 large sensor.

Sharpness for the lenses is the criteria I look for and these lenses are in the second place in Dxomark lab testing. I have 35mm 1.4, 55.mm 1.8 Zeiss lenses and these lenses take better picture.

Great Macro lens. Not as good as my GMAster 85. For a mixed Macro and Portrait lens, it is the best choice.

We needed a lense for Macro photography, and this was a perfect match for our Sony a7III. Easy to use, and amazing photos! It was the most expensive of the ones available, however, it was absolutely with the money.

Macro Shots are so easy with this Sony 90G Lens paired with my Sony A1

What an amazing macro! The clarity and crispness if the pictures were amazing. First time into taking macro pictures and I love it with this lens.

This lens has been great for macro photography so far. I'm looking forward to many more wonderful pictures with it. Very easy to use with the manual to auto focus switch design. And it doesn't weigh as much as it looks like it does.

I have only used this a few times, but I am loving it so far. I am a newborn photographer so capturing details are so important on the babies.

The Sony -FE 90mm f/2.8 Macro lens is not only a great lens for Macro work, but can double as a really nice portrait lens. You can feel the lens is well built. And, the pictures are tack sharp.

A good lens, a bit of learning to use it, does as it is advertised.

Really it's a 2 in 1 lens that is extremely sharp and worth the price. I'm using it on my a6000.

I love this lense. I use it with my Sony A7Rii. Auto focus is slow. But... manual focus works like a charm. I use this lens even for non macro photography. It’s a great lense also for portrait.

The Sony FE 90mm Macro is fantastic macro lens and very capable portrait lens. If you are a Sony FF shooter and are looking for macro capabilities this is the one you want.

I have the Sony, 36 MP A7r and low light,12 MP A7s and this is a superb macro lens for both of them. It is also a nice portrait lens af f 2.8.. The Optical Stabilization is good for 3 shutter speeds better than usual, For example, a hand held shot would be reasonably sharp at 1/120 sec but with OS, decent shots for 8x10s could be taken at 1/15 sec. However a tripod would be even sharper and then the OS would need to be turned off. As a video lens, the OS helps on a Steadicam, Fig Rig and even on panning and dolly shots.
