Amazing Sound!

Sound is amazing but now I need to add the subwoofer and maybe later the rear speakers. Had the GEEK squad set this up so cannot comment on the ease of installation with TV.

Not The Best But Still Good

I like the sound of the Sonos better but I let myself be talked into buying this instead. In retrospect, I prefer the Sonos, but that doesn't make this sound bar a bad product. Also, the setup and GUI aren't the most intuitive. *Note; You definitely need the sub woofer with it.

The best you can get for the price

Much better quality and better sound performance. Very happy with this soundbar. I would recommend getting the wireless Sony 300watt subwoofer. It just adds to the quality. Sounds amazing for the price

Happy with the purchase

Although I will add rear speakers later, when combined with the SA-SW3-200W sub woofer, I have way more bass than I need. It fills the room with sound. My living room is approximately 20x24 with a vaulted ceiling.

Great sound bar !

I have a 13 by 17 room and ,while connected to my Sony sub, it fills the room with awesome sound. Doesn’t get any better than this for simple to set up wireless sound.

The sound is nothing but amazing. I checked out several other brands and this wins. It was easy to connect to the TV and features custom tunes to your room. Don’t hesitate- add the 200 watt sub and you’ll want to watch all of your movies over again just to hear what you were missing.

This is a wonderful soundbar and I am one of those that tried every single one they had hooked up and compare for a long time. This one had the absolute best sound for that size. The bass is very good, which I had read to double check on that before deciding on any soundbar.

Sony, The One and Only.

The A7000 would have stuck out way passed the width of my TV, which I didn't want. This sound bar adds another dimension to the awesome TV, it helps to more focus the sound to other speakers instead of all the sound coming from the TV itself. The TV becomes the 'center channel' of vocals, and the sound bar takes on the surround sounds. I also added the SA-SW5 subwoofer and the SA-RS5 rear speakers which make for a fantastic encompassing sound environment. The rear surround speakers I placed on the Dream MD5402 stands and they are perfect for these speakers (need 2 additional M5 metric screws to attach the Sony speakers). I bought all my items as open box, and couldn't be happier with my purchases.

It pounds pretty good on its own but I'd still recommend getting a seperate subwooofer. Awesome quality, I think it's safe to say Sony is again a top player in sound

"Open-Box Excellent" option is great

I just upgraded from the HT-A3000 to the HT-A5000 and wish I would have gone with the -A5000 first. While the -A3000 is really good, and might work better for some depending on their use case, the -A5000 is absolutely fantastic! No worries, I should be able to sell the -A3000. Anyway, I decided to take a chance and try one of the "Open-Box Excellent" options and couldn't be happier. My example was definitely previously opened, but it appears as if it was never actually used. It is truly flawless, with no sign of wear. So, if you're looking for a great deal on a great sound bar, consider this "Open-Box Excellent" option.

Hard to beat traditional floor or bookshelf speakers and amp/receiver. The sound bars up firing end speakers are a significant improvement that does help fill-in sound gaps and subwoofer and rear speakers do give added special support.

I'm sure it would work equally well with other brand TVs that support ARC and eARC. I have no regrets. Setup was a little tricky. You may have to make several attempts. Don't give up, lol.

Can't wait to turn it up past 50 % in about 3 months. They said to break it in it is best not to go past 50% very often, so the speaker can get used to the vibration. I like to watch my movies like I am at the theater.

Wrong accessories

I found it elsewhere and no have one and I love it. Deep bass, great Atmos experience! However…. I ordered one from Best Buy recently through the Best Buy app. It’s was labeled “excellent condition” I have made purchases for open box before and haven’t really had any major problems. This one being excellent, was supposed to have all original parts and accessories. Occasionally there might be a replacement that is acceptable., But generally open box excellent has all original parts and accessories. This one showed up after waiting over a week with a Sony TV remote that was not compatible with the sound bar itself. The original sound bar remote was nowhere to be found. Somebody just stuck some random Sony TV remote in there, assuming it was geek squad. Very disappointed with that experience as I had to return it and order it elsew. But I do want to say now that I have one, the A5000 is perfect for my size living room. I love it.!

Expensive for what you get

Definitely a plus overall purchase. Sony overall makes a great product.
