Sound bar provides balanced sound for Home Theater

It is easy to install and works well with a Bluetooth subwoofer. This could be just what you need to complete your home theater experience.

Great soundbar

I was sceptical with the atmos from one soundbar. This aoundbar really delivers. The bass is punchy enough on its own. The surrounds arw great as well. The option to add trhe sub amd surrounds later is a pous as well.

This is THE soundbar!!!!!

I had an outdated, 16 year old speaker system and I just didn't want to deal with wires in an apartment. This thing is AMAZING!!!!! I purchased the RS5 rear speakers which brings it together. I like having the RS5 and it does add to the experience of the soundbar, but don't feel like you HAVE to have the rear speakers. The sound quality is nutty. Thus far, the Dolby Atmos experience has been a little underwhelming, but I haven't watched any of my Marvel movies yet and I feel like those movies are going to show me what I am missing. I ALMOST decided to return the RS5, but I just really like the rear surround. The soundbar is THAT good! You will not regret getting this soundbar. Well, unless the A7000 goes on sale to under $1100. In which case, get that.

I'm a nearly deaf in one ear and I can still make out the dialogues easily. And the tie in with sub-woofer and rear speakers is wonderful.

Good alone, Excellent with a Sub and Surrounds

With good Dolby programming you get expansive, clear room filling sound and plenty of rumble when needed. As a stand alone its pretty good too with clear dialogue and sound extending beyond it's edges thanks to the up firing atmos speakers. If it had a bit better sound shaping and some eq options it would be perfect...but it's pretty good once you find the sweet spot in the available options which fit your room the best.

Although for the price this should have come with at least the sub or surrounds or both

great sound upgrade

What struck me immediately was how seamlessly it worked with my existing wireless rear speakers and subwoofer. This integration made the transition smooth and hassle-free. The HT-A5000 is a definite step up from the 3000 model. The addition of the top-firing speakers brings a whole new level of immersion to the audio experience. Great soundbar with a big caveat

However, be cautioned, Optical (or Toslink) does not enable any of the advanced features. HDMI eARC or ARC is required to really set this bar to its full potential.

Great soundbar option for a Bravia TV

The setup is very easy with some on screen setup options. Works great with eArc from the TV and the sound is excellent. I do not see a need to add a woofer, the unit provides a good depth of sound without it.
