Only one feature i dont like, talking interupts listening as a default but can be turned off with holding down two fingers on the pad.

I had the XM4's headphones these XM5's aren't better or improved, to me. I paid $160 to upgrade and lost features! I prefer the old ear shape, I prefer that when I used to fold them into their case then I could also put them away in purse. The XM5 case to too large for any purse, I can see that it's flatness of the XM5 case may be convenient for a backpack. I expected there to be a GOOD REASON for their "new" shape, but I haven't found it. The stem (or whatever you call the part) that connects the headphone to the headband part seems less sturdy, than the flatter "stem" of the XM4's. **Photographed are my XM2's, but I used the 4's that were still under warantee thinking I was going to get a better product... I didn't get a better product, and with warrantee these set me back over $500. For that I need to be impressed and I'm not.

Ive owned a 85$ of sony headphones pair for 3 years prior to these ones without a problem other than the shedding of material. Disappointed

Good Sound, for a Short Time

I contacted Sony, who declared the issue was "cosmetic or accidental" despite them being unwearable. It was not covered under warranty, and Sony refused to provide a contact or means to escalate the issue. This is a known issue on their own community forums and other platforms.

Finally decided to buy my wife one for Christmas. It has been her motivation to hit the gym everyday. The sound is crystal clear, battery can run for days, noise cancelling is on another level. Design is beautiful. Light weight but very firm on your head, has never fell off my head even when I’m doing cardio. Super soft for the ears as well since I also use them for study. My favorite is it dry super quick when you sweat, doesn’t even leave any water mark or stickyness. 1000% recommend.

I bought sony and bose head phone , i returned the bose and kept the sony. My experienced to sony , you can not wear hoodie over sony headphone , the hoodie interfer with every function going on by touching the sensitive button. The build up quality is poor . Attach a picture.

These headphones are and I have literally no comparison with the words in my vocabulary To describe these headphones and how perfect they are they are unmatched and I have had every single pair of headphones existing with noise cancelation these headphones are super clear and I'm not just talking about hearing music. I'm talking about hearing instruments in perfect clarity you can hear everything in a song and nothing gets left behind and paired together with the amazing bass that comes out super clean and very well produced with a very deep rumbling sound it's phenomenal The Sony application brings these headphones on a throne with all of the different profiles you can configure And you can definitely find your favorite sound profile by messing around with those settings and it's very easy to understand these headphones have the best noise cancellation I have ever heard in my life not. Only did these headphones cancel the sound from a Subway rumbling a couple feet from me in New York City these headphones blocked out the sound for the person I was on the phone with they literally said "it sounds like ur in a quiet room" With a train screeching its brakes and hundreds of people Just to help you understand how these headphones are beyond words. The noise cancelation shocked me because I could be heard perfectly clear to the person I was speaking to but every sound around me was completely blocked out and I went a whole day using these headphones my battery is currently at 90 percent using active noise cancelation I would highly recommend these headphones and I have nothing bad to say about them I will definitely keep buying from Sony and I am definitely a very happy customer
