While PC is fine, the quality of the service at Best Buy was nothing short of deplorable. Essentially, there is virtually no similarities between the information provided by the call center and the brick and mortar stores. When I made the decision to purchase the BB membership, I did so on bad information provided by the call center. Similarly, the call center staff apparently have no idea how the brick & mortar Geek Squad function. The call center told me that the data from my old PC to the new PC would take about an hour and I could have that done when I went to pick up the new unit. When I got to the store, I was told that I needed to have made an appointment and that the process would take between 24 & 48 hours. Additionally, I was made to believe that a membership would provide me with in-home Geek Squad support at little to no cost. Not true. Apparently, the membership buys you a 20% discount which, in the big picture, is OK, but having that information up front would have been better.
