Excellent service in the US and in Europe. Works on land, boat and car everywhere we traveled this summer (US and Greece). Lots of plans to choose from, including a month-to-month option with unlimited downloads at max speed which is about the same price as my Gigabit fiber home network. In Greece I consistently reached 150-200MBps+ downloads and 50-75MBps+ uploads (facing north, with some city obstructions). In the US with less visibility because of trees in the backyard, I consistently achieved 110MBps download and 35MBps upload speeds. Average ping is 14-20ms in Greece and in the US. I let the dish sit outside in rain and dust without issues for weeks. Zero issues downloading 4K movies, streaming movies, playing games online.
The antenna is small and fits into the same backpack I use to carry my 16” laptop. I recommend buying a case and cover for the antenna to protect it while traveling by air. Also recommend buying a tripod mount if you want to mount it securely to a balcony railing or keep it off the ground.

The Starlink Mini has worked well. It was easy to set and connected to the satellites quickly. The speeds were between 135-145 upload and 45 download. We also have the Starlink Gen 3 and its upload and download speeds are significantly higher, but the mini is easier to setup and a lot smaller size makes it perfect for taking it on hiking trip. Plus a 25000 portable battery will run the mini while out in the field.
The only sad part of our purchase was the Starlink went on sale 17 days later, so it was past the 14 day return/price match policy for Bestbuy. Should have bought it at Home Depot with 30 day policy and we could have saved $70. But highly recommend the Starlink Mini.

I recently started using the STARLINK Mini Kit AC Dual Band Wi-Fi System, and overall it’s been a game-changer for reliable internet in places where traditional service just doesn’t exist.
Right out of the box, setup is simple and straightforward — plug it in, point it toward the sky, and you’re pretty much ready to go within minutes. There’s no complicated installation, which I really appreciate.
Best Buy
The best part about this system is how portable and compact it is. The Mini Kit is small enough to fit in a backpack, making it perfect for camping, RV trips, remote work, or even as an emergency internet backup. It’s lightweight without feeling flimsy, and the build quality feels solid for outdoor use.

Performance has been impressive too. I consistently get high-speed internet (over 100 Mbps) — fast enough for streaming, video calls, browsing, and light downloads. The dual-band Wi-Fi provides good coverage throughout a modest space, and it reliably connects multiple devices without much lag.
Best Buy
Of course, this is satellite internet, so performance can depend on your view of the sky and local conditions. But in open areas I’ve found the connection strong and stable. The low power draw also makes it ideal for setups with portable power stations or solar panels.
Starlink
If there’s anything to note, it’s that you do need a clear sky view and a suitable power source, especially if you’re using it day after day in remote areas. But honestly, given how much connectivity it provides in places that ordinarily wouldn’t have any, I think it’s well worth it.
Overall: A versatile and powerful compact Wi-Fi system that brings fast, reliable internet anywhere you go — highly recommended for adventurers, travelers, and anyone needing connectivity off the grid.

We purchased the mini to use in our camper while traveling and staying at remote locations. We set up our Starlink at the house, which only took a few minutes, before we began traveling. It was easy to setup and we had no problems getting connected while camping.

Works great. Bought Starlink for on the go while camping. Have had no issues. Upload and download has been good as long as you have open sky. Did work ok while position under a tree also with partial blockage.

Now I get service in the middle of nowhere for work, literally plug it in follow the all and good to go in 10 minutes. Router is wild I get signal across a fairly large job site

I took my Starlink with me to rural areas in Mexico where there’s basically no internet service, and it worked flawlessly. Setup was easy and it connected right away. I was consistently getting around 200 Mbps download speeds, which honestly exceeded my expectations. I was able to stream, work online, and do video calls without any issues. Very impressed with how reliable it was in a remote area. Definitely worth it if you need internet where other options don’t work.

It just works like it should, it is quite amazing how reliable things have been. Even when going 80MPH, zero issues. Which means it is not TOO sensitive to the position it is pointed, despite the app showing you how to optimize the position.
When we are camping or on road trips, we can still work while going down the hwy and my kids are playing games on their Switch without lag. We tend to get between 120-210Mbps download speeds and 20-24MBps upload in various parts of CA, NV, UT where we tried it.
We use the ROAM plan and love that we can pause the service on months we don't need it.
When used in either of our cars, I just use a Bluetti battery bank to power it with a USB-C charger cable (not the AC brickit came with). The smaller 204wh unit will last between 4-7hrs of use depending on how many users are connected and the temperature the battery is stored in, if the bluetti is usually in the truck bed and that can surely be reaching over 120F inside which will hurt battery run times. 4hrs would be the lowest amount I have seen on a single charge which means the Starlink Mini isn't too power hungry even in harder environments.
I recommend this even if only for emergency use since the plan can be paused. If you work from home, it could be a good backup if your local internet goes down too.
Only thing I do not like is that I did not buy it sooner.

I got this after dealing with issues with cellular hotspot service through Cricket Wireless (over-priced slow speeds with strong signal).
With the Starlink Mini I get fast service anywhere I'm at.
I drive a Kenworth and mount it to the antenna point using a clamp mount I bought off Amazon. I've been in the middle of no-where Northern Nevada with no cell service and gotten like 300 Mbps download speed. Plus you can make calls over WiFi with your iPhone if you enable that feature in your cellular settings. So there are no dead zones without cell service if you own a Starlink Mini.
Sometimes I'm lazy and don't even take it out to mount it and just leave it plugged in running on the top shelf of my truck. It still gets a signal and provides usable internet. Which is impressive being that it's receiving the signal through a sheet of metal (the roof).
Only thing I don't like is the cost for the unlimited data plan. However, that being said you don't get throttled and I can see I've used hundreds of GB of data so I'm not going to get too upset about the cost being how generous they're being with the speeds given my high usage. Also I imagine part of the monthly cost is going towards upgrading or maintaining their network and getting more satellites in orbit.
The only real problem I have is how it handles Xbox Cloud Gaming.
But my solution to that is going to be just getting an Xbox or gaming PC. Something weird happens with the latency and there is a massive input delay between when you do something and when Microsoft's cloud gaming servers accept the input and relay the video.
I don't think that is Starlink's problem though, I've informed Microsoft about it a few times. Maybe someone from Starlink will see this review and escalate the issue; that might help. I know companies sometimes read their product reviews on here.
Five stars because it eliminated my cellular dead zones (which is important as a trucker in remote places), it gives me high-speed internet anywhere I want, and I can play World of Warcraft retail on it without any latency issues.
Oh, and did I mention that there are portable solar charger power banks you can run this off of?
I got one that folds up four panels each that are the size of a notepad and fits into my laptop bag. So if I ever don't have a power source and there's sunlight I can just lay it out, plug in my Starlink Mini, and the low power-draw from the Mini means I have 4-5 hours of high-speed internet. If I ever had to I could just charge all my stuff off that and still have high speed internet if for some reason I couldn't access electricity.
This product works well for a variety of situations. Not getting it if you can afford to would be a mistake.

Works great, super small and yet powerful. Used for first time where we had no cell signal camping and needed to be in contact with the outside world. Was worried about the range, but it was phenomenal. I was 300’ away at a couple points and still had WiFi connection. I’m sure being mounted on top of my trailer on the ladder helped the range vs just sitting on the ground.
Everything about the entire setup is pretty simple, but some will nitpick the finer points based on personal preference and opinions.
Bottom line is it works, works extremely well, and can be adapted in many different ways for easy use.

I camp alot, being away from the internet used to be hard, not knowing whats going on in the world when you miles away from cell service and the internet but now with the starlink mini, within 1 minute i have cell and the internet, this thing is so easy to set up. I love my starlink mini!! I have recommended to all my family and friends this is the real deal. I love it. And the service is priced great, $50 a month for roam is a exceptionally great deal, if we're not camping its $5 a month for emergency service till i turn roam back on. Love it!!!

I’ve been using the Starlink Mini Kit AC Dual Band Wi-Fi System for a few weeks now, and I’m thoroughly impressed. Setup was quick and painless — the instructions were clear, and everything connected smoothly. Within minutes, I had strong, stable internet in an area where I previously struggled to get a signal.
The dual-band AC Wi-Fi provides excellent coverage and speed. Streaming, video calls, and downloads are all seamless, even with multiple devices connected. The design is sleek and compact — it blends easily into any space without being an eyesore.
What really stands out is how well it works in remote or rural areas. If you’ve been frustrated with unreliable service or dead zones, this is a total game-changer. I’m finally getting consistent, fast internet in places where it was previously impossible.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a dependable and easy-to-use Wi-Fi system — especially if you’re already using Starlink satellite internet or need a smart upgrade for your home setup!

Easy to set up. Able to play games, watch tv, and work on laptops at RV sites. But has trouble in RV sites with a lot of trees still able to watch tv and work on the laptops but not so much playing games.

The Starlink Mini system has so far proven itself to be a fast and reliable Internet option, being able to work almost anywhere there is a clear view of the northern sky. The Mini model is fairly compact and easy to set up.
Cons: The included power cable is fairly long but somewhat flimsy, and I'm not sure I would rely on it for a permanent installation.
The Mini is not capable of being powered over Ethernet on its own like some of the other models, but this can be worked around with some additional third-party hardware.
I would recommend looking into an PoE++ Injector and outdoor Splitter to be able to run power and network over a single ruggedized ethernet cable. (I've seen the power usage level about 30W, but it pulls more when its melting snow off the receiver and it's technically rated at 60W, so basic PoE or PoE+ devices won't cut it. You'd normally need at least 802.3bt PoE++ injector/switch and splitter, but I did find one PoE injector/splitter set that uses its own proprietary method that seems to work and was quite inexpensive.
This is a very viable way to get a fast and reliable Internet connection where there may not be cell coverage or any landline ISPs available.

This product is changing lives. The ability to go on the road and connect for work or connect with family while in remote locations is a game changer. Easy set up... follow the directions. It's idiot proof. All you need is open sky. Those that complain can't seem to understand this concept... direct satellite exposure needed. It's not that comllicated.

Great product for our RV travels! Bought it at Best while on a trip, and began using same day. We ordered online a day ahead and picked it up as we traveled through La Quinta. It got great connection everywhere we went in the Southwest, never failed. Fast speeds too.
