This product works good. I like the fact that this 7 port USB Hub has it's own power source so that it doesn't draw power from my laptop when I plug in all of my many USB cords.

It worked well for my purpose, which was 4 ports for programming, one for usb data transfer, and two spare. It also provides ample power to each port for 5v devices.

Easy solution to crawling under the desk to plug and unplug cords, works for me! Wish the power supply cord was longer giving a bit more flexibility in placement without the use of an extension cord.

My 2.0 USB ports all shut down when some software made a change that I was unable to reverse. Addition of this USB 3.0 hub got me back in operation.

Well made and works perfectly. No problems with this hub. On other hubs, connection wears out or will stop working. Not this one. Still solid, and I use it daily. Always connectung and disconnecting drives...and it is holding up very well.

Every port has had enough power for peripherals, for example, i have a scanner, security cameras, a dvd player(for computer) and a RGB lightstrip.

Seems like my keyboard and mouse have a hard time staying connected to the computer when using this product. It seems to do okay running a microphone and my extra equipment but will update on further is it doesn't. It has good build quality and would have cleared up my cable management issues if I could have used it for everything instead of only some things.

Have had no problems with this. The connections are reliable and once installed and connected there is no reason to think about it ever again.

This hub works extremely well in conjunction with an all-in-one Lenovo, it gives me access to USB 3.0 thumb drives. 10+ for my uses.

The StarTech.com hub works as expected. It is nice that it has so many ports.

It has heavy duty metal construction with good fit connection. Easy install.
