I've been testing the Steelseries Apex 3 RGB gaming keyboard for a few days and so far, my experience has been good. At first glance the keyboard looked a bit large but it's actually a standard size and shape. The keys are quiet and super responsive, key caps and wrist rest are nice and soft, RGB backlighting is vibrant. The plug and play setup was a breeze and the Steelseries Engine software made it simple to change the colors of the backlight, set the key bindings and change the polling rates which is great for aesthetics and gaming. It also included one of my favorite features which is the media control wheel. The only thing that I’m not a fan of is the extra springiness of the keys but, I guess that is the trade I have to make for them being quiet. With all that being said, this is still a great keyboard.

Recently bought this and already highly recommend this. The keys feel great when you type. The lighting can be adjusted to many options for colors. Functions perfectly and seems very well made. I love the magnetic arm rest it comes with. Holds well and feels comfortable. Highly recommend.

Excellent keyboard, especially for the price. It's relatively quiet, but not silent. The keys have a satisfying feel while typing. The LEDs are very configurable, and you can record macros and/or re-map keys. The magnetic wrist rest works well too.

I was impressed when I opened this and found a detachable wrist rest that is detachable with magnets. From there I was happy not to have to download anything to be able to change the lighting. Right now I have it on gentle changing lights. So, it’s a keyboard, and it’s job is to be easy to type on. Or game. It does both well! The keys are raised and give you that feeling of using an old mechanical keyboard. I would say this is worth your while for an entry level gamer but also for an experienced typist. I’m both and really enjoy it. Currently I’m using this in a Mac. You won’t be disappointed with this and if you are, you can always take advantage of Best Buy’s returns policy and find something else.

Setup was a snap. Plug and play and boom you are in. Quick function keys were easy to use. Also programing key entry was easy too. The keys are raised to accentuate the lighting which is really nice. The lights are bright and hot key functions are easy to use as well. Typing and game play are responsive. No lag. No sticking keys. Wrist rest magnet feature is nice. Easy on easy off. Only bad thing is if you move the keyboard the wrist rest will not follow like standard keyboards. I was too scared to try the water proof spill protection so I will take the word of it's water resistant rating. I would recommend this product. Nicely done.

It took me a while to find a compatible keyboard for the ps5, it works great, comfy, I like the floating key look, but it’s a little too plastic-y. Still recommend 100%

I love this keyboar, it is really quiet and the colors I have set to a spectrum of pink to purple. so pretty. I also bought the mouse as part of a set.

For its price, this keyboard is an outstanding choice. The keys offer a satisfying tactile feel and provide solid feedback without being overly loud or "clicky." The media controls and macro keys are thoughtfully placed—convenient to use without being too prominent or distracting. Additionally, the magnetic wrist rest is a great feature: it stays securely in place when you need it but can be effortlessly removed when you prefer it out of the way.

I love everything about this keyboard. The only thing that some may consider a drawback is the wired aspect of it, so please note that this is not wireless. I've never found a product by SteelSeries that I didnt love, and this keyboard is no exception. The keys are really soft and they feel nice under your fingertips. I also haven't noticed any sticking. This keyboard is kind of loud, so it might be good to keep that in mind if you're somebody who doesnt like the sound of loud typing. Luckily for me, it's one of my favorite sounds. The keyboard also comes with a magnetic wrist rest that attaches to the keyboard securely, so you dont have to worry about it sliding all over the place. It's also very comfortable. If you're looking for an RGB keyboard that's also affordable, I highly recommend this one.

This keyboard exceeded all my expectations! The keys are super responsive, perfect for both gaming and typing. The RGB lighting is vibrant and customizable, adding a nice touch to my desk setup. It feels durable and premium, and the wrist rest makes long sessions way more comfortable. Easily one of the best keyboards I’ve used!

If I could give this 4 and 1/2 stars I would. I have absolutely no complaints about the function of the keyboard aside from the lack of multimedia keys. Don't get me wrong, it's very easy to create macros and bind them, I just wish there were dedicated keys for multimedia functions. Keys feel great, very responsive, wrist rest is comfortable enough and the material is great. RGB is easy enough to program and the app for it is nice, especially at this price. Disclaimer: I do have larger hands and long fingers, I could see it being a bit of a challenge for someone with poor finger dexterity or smaller hands to use this keyboard for an extended period of time due to the height of the keys.

The Steelseries Apex 3 is one of the best budget keyboards out there. It has everything you could want in a keyboard. LED lights with different color combinations, volume sliders, magnetic wrist rest, and water resistance! Aspects like the wrist rest contribute to making this keyboard very comfortable to use. If you are one out there looking for a cheap, high-quality gaming, I highly recommend the Steelseries Apex 3 gaming keyboard.

This is my first steelseries keyboard and so far I am very impressed. I owned a Logitech G Series prior to this, and it felt cheap and unnecessarily big in comparison. Not only is the Apex 3 shaved down to only bordering the main keyboard, but you can disconnect the wrist rest in a moment with its innovative magnetic attachment. If I want to use it with my PS4/XBONE, I pull the rest off and I have a nice, small keyboard to transport downstairs. + responsive keys size ergonomics functionality (2 buttons to control all aspects of media play)

I recently upgraded to a mechanical gaming keyboard, and it’s been a total game-changer. The tactile feedback and satisfying clicks make every keypress feel amazing, whether I’m gaming or typing. The customizable RGB lighting not only looks cool but also helps me keep track of keybinds in darker settings. It’s built like a tank, so I know it’ll last, even with my intense gaming sessions. Honestly, I didn’t realize how much a good keyboard could improve my overall experience until I started using this one.

I'm really liking this keyboard so far, it's super comfortable and the lights are cool. It also doesn't make a lot of noise when you type and feels easy to navigate.

Love the option to change the colors of the keys. Perfect sized keyboard, the keys feel nice and sturdy. The wrist rest attachment is a great extra feature, just needs to be setup in the right spot since it’s magnetic and can slide around a bit

Originally, I had the basic keyboard that came with my PC. However, I decided to go with this keyboard as a little gift for myself. It's amazing, I was comparing this keyboard with Hyper X's keyboard. They were in the same price range, but what sold me was the waterproof element and the magnetic attachment board for your wrist. I love the way the keys sound when you press on them, and they are evenly spaced so the color pops through. Overall, I really recommend this as a starter gaming keyboard especially in the price range in comparison to Hyper X. I even asked some of my PC gaming friends, and they all approved this purchase, stating this was a better choice than Hyper X for its price range!
