so far so good, a good replacement to the g pro x wired. Better mic by far and the sound is maybe a bit clearer, that is harder to tell.

fits very comfortably and ergonomically on my head. the auxillary cord is sturdy and reliable. I've used them on my ps5 connected to my controller, and the cord looks brand new after months of steady use. the sound has amazing depth and directional tracking. the mic is a little flat on the receiving end, but there are much worse. its crisp, comfortable, and very affordable. i would absolutely purchase again!!

These have been fantastic ever since I got them over a year ago. They work for my PlayStation 5 My Nintendo my Xbox My steam deck. They are universal they are versatile and high quality sound. I also had a head injury years ago that made it difficult to wear a headset. These ones have been the best for me so far.

My Discord group immediately noticed a big quality improvement as soon as I started talking the first time I used this headset. Sound quality is pretty good, microphone tests shows quality is pretty high on that as well. Easy to use. Only thing I would like to see different is a braided cord out of the box. Definitely worth the price I paid ($70)

I picked this headset up last minute due to my headset dying. I am very impressed with the quality at this price point. Audio is crisp, mic doesn't pick up background noise, and the cloth covers and head band spacer are comfortable, even after multi-hour gaming sessions. Excellent value. I am very happy with my purchase.

Great for the price I got it for - sound cancelling and comfort is surprisingly good, which I didn’t expect, given how inexpensive it was.
Sound comes through excellently, and folks on discord say I no longer sound like a monster (using old Logitech mic before).
I have only had it for a month so I can’t say how good wear and tear will be, but the strap design on the top helps me to know it’s going to last longer than the flakey pleather runner ups I’ve used in the past. It’s secure and of a good material.
Only reason I give it a 4/5 is that I wish it was a swing boom mic, because sometimes I’m fumbling trying to align the mic just-so, to store it away into its slot.

Alright, let's keep this short and sweet. The Arctis Nova 1 Wired Gaming Headset by SteelSeries? Absolute winner, mate. Looks sleek, sound quality is mind-blowing - it's like you're right there in the game.
Those tiny in-game sounds? Picks them up perfectly. Got some loud mates on Discord? No problem, the mic is spot on, your voice comes through clear as day and doesn't pick up your neighbor's dog barking.
Worried about comfort? Don't be. The headset's design is smart - it fits well and won't make your head or ears sore even after hours of gaming.
And don't sweat the wired part - there's no annoying lag, and you won't be constantly worrying about charging or batteries dying.
Bottom line, the Arctis Nova 1 is a kickass bit of kit. A solid choice for any gamer who values quality and comfort. Trust me, it's worth it.

Pros:
- Lightweight
- Easy stowing of mic boom when not in use
- Mute toggle
- RGB (if you’re into that sort of thing)
Cons:
- SteelSeries GG is a total mess
- I couldn’t push a critical update to my headset even with two computers. (PC and Mac)
- Audio sounds flat with poor stereo field (poor audio localization, center sounds empty while sides and rear seem overly prominent)
- Audio volume is lacking (I turned these all the way up and still felt like I needed a little more (I’m an audio engineer so I don’t listen to things overly loudly))
