Do not buy this product unless you are okay with their software taking over your computer. This software kept overriding my windows admin permissions & continues to keep the default sound output to something I don’t want, and refuses to let me change it. I Reset my pc & it was fine until i reinstalled the steelseries software again. Then it went back to the same issue. So now i’m resetting my pc again & going to return this piece of *** for another headset. Thankfully I have another headset I can use in the meantime. Will be staying away from ALL steelseries products after this experience.

Not what I'm used to when looking for good audio; but good enough for those too lazy to set up something nice. Although I like it enough to keep it, the audio(in and out) do not justify the cost

This headset is one big piece of garbage. So first off, the main appeal of this headset for me was the ability to switch between PC and PS5 with just the push of a button. That works. Chat mix doesn't work on the PS5, I don't think it's meant to. The headset feels too tight on my large head, the sound quality is not good, and the ear cushions make your ears heat up/sweat. Out of the box these sound very flat so you're stuck using Sonar to improve your listening experience. The Sonar software is really convoluted and creates like six different audio outputs for the PC... music, gaming, voice chat, and 2-3 others. I also feel like the software makes you lose a few FPS. My number one complaint however is that multiple times in MW3/Warzone my friends kept complaining that they could hear themselves echoing through my microphone. I tried many things to try to fix this but to no avail. Why should I have to lower voice chat audio to 40, lower my mic volume and use the pop filter etc. and still experience echo when there are other headsets that work perfectly out of the box? I exchanged these for wired Astro A40 with MixAmp and chat mix works great on both PC and PS5. They're also cheaper, more comfortable, they don't echo, and they sound better. This is sad because I actually love my Steelseries Apex Pro keyboard but this headset makes me think less of the company as a whole.

After a reboot or just when it feels like the sounds goes out and you have to disconnect the usb and re plug back in. happened on two different motherboards gigabyte or msi running win 11. Ryzen9 64mb ram and a 4080.

If I could give these 0 stars I would. Maybe the wireless ones are better. I had major issues with the gamedac and had to return it. You would have to constantly restart it or an awful really loud blast of static would come through at random. When it was working correctly, they were really nice. Just not worth it to fight to get them to work for how much they cost.
