Customers enjoy the superb sound quality, amazing battery life, and comfortable design of the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless headset. Many appreciate its compatibility with multiple gaming platforms and the convenience of Bluetooth connectivity. However, some find the price to be high and the noise-canceling feature could be improved. A few users also mentioned that the software could be more user-friendly and the ear pads could be more substantial.

The most comfortable headset I've purchased by far. And I've been through quite a few brands, as well as another model from this brand. Now add great audio quality, awesome audio presets, the mix amp to adjust game/chat audio with ease, its light weight materials, noise cancellation, Bluetooth, retractable mic, an extra battery that's always charging, easy setup, a very impressive wireless range (for bathroom runs, just remember to mute)....and OMG what is there not to love! The price? Well worth it in my opinion. First headset in a long time that I've bought that didn't give me buyers remorse. Even with that price tag. Get one!

Great Headset With Small Earcups.

This headset checked all the boxes on paper, so I decided to try them out as part of my hunt for an Arctis 7 replacement. Overall they have tons of features, if you can stand wearing them.
The Good:
- ANC with Transparency mode. While I find the ANC itself to be uncomfortable (has the higher 'pressure' feel of some ANC headphones out there), the Transparency mode is AMAZING. I have kids and sometimes I try to sneak in a few rounds during the day. Being able to hear and talk to my kids with the headset on is awesome. Usually I need to do the 'half-on one ear' method with one of the earcups, but with this mode I can just leave the headset on.
- Hot Swap battery is slick. The extra battery charges in the base station and is easily swapped out from the headset. The fit and feel of putting the battery into the station is kinda janky though. It's loose and needs to be pushed in, then down to catch a lip for keeping it in. Then you lift to pop it out. I wish it was more like an sd card lock, where you push in to lock, then push in again to unlock. Battery life on one pack isn't too bad and the charge time on the second pack is pretty quick.
-Simultaneous Bluetooth connection with auto phone-answering. This is fantastic for me. If you want to stream music from your phone while gaming, or if like me you need to answer phone calls at any time (including mid-game!) this feature is really nice. When a call comes in, the headset switches over automatically, I just need to hit 'accept' on my phone. When done, the game volume and chat are right back in play with nothing else needed to do. (Few caveats here though: The Bluetooth by default just stays on even after you turn the headset itself off. Make sure to turn both the headset AND the bluetooth off separately. Make sure your ringer volume on your device is turned LOW. The default Bluetooth volume is loud af and almost blew my eardrums out when I got my first call lol)
-Sonar software is a liiiiiitle buggy but overall functionality is very nice. You get all kinds of digital enhancement/EQ options for both your sound and the mic sound, plus a digital mixer. You'll get several audio device inputs/outputs show up in Windows so you can route and volume manage everything. As someone that likes to tinker with volume mixes, I love this.
The Bad:
- Sidetone is pretty quiet even at full volume.
- The earcups are too small. Both in diameter and in depth. I bought wicked cushion upgrades for this set and while it eliminated the ANC 'nub-rub', the cups are just too small for me to wear this set comfortably. The tops and bottoms of my ears are in constant contact with the pads which makes it hard for me to use for more than 20 minutes at a time. YMMV, but for me this is a huge detriment. I know the smaller cups help with the ANC function, but I'd rather not have the ANC and have more comfortable experience. Oh and that ANC 'nub-rub' I mentioned is from an extra bit that sticks off the drivers into the earcup. Keep an eye on this when trying them out. Doesn't feel bad in the first minute, but after gaming a bit you may feel them more significantly.
-Price. $350 can buy you a lot of stuff, so consider alternatives unless some feature on here is a must have for you.

If you are on the market for gaming headphones look no more. These are the best wireless gaming headphones on the market period. I’m a headphone freak. Have like 10 different headphones for gaming. Turtle Beach, JBL, Logitech, Xbox, etc and these are my absolute favorites. I can hear everything and they do a good job on COD. I can locate effortlessly enemy players with clear sound and heavy bass. If you are using on XBOX I highly recommend downloading Sonar on your PC. Update the firmware, download different audio files and setups to your mixer and enjoy. Another thing that I love about these headphones is the customization. You can buy different color head band, pads and plates to give your headset a different look. The only thing I don’t like about this headphones are the ear pads, they are not comfy at all but Wicked Cushions sell amazing ones. Again don’t look elsewhere buy this headset now!

I purchased the Arctis Nova Pro for Xbox after watching Youtube reviews stating it was the best one. What I like about this headset is the quality of its build and the clarity of the audio. It pairs to my XBOX series X as soon as it is plugged in and powered on. No settings need to be adjusted on your xbox. It comes with 2 batteries so you never run out of charge as you always have one charging inside the base station. I also like that you can listen to a bluetooth device while playing your game so I can be on a phone call or enjoying my music from my cell phone at the same time. I have used this for work as well due to its compatibility with PC. I've been able to listen to music while participating in zoom meetings.
What I did not like was the learning curve to get the best out of it's feature. The documentation included with the headset is not clear on how each button works so I had to research online. For example, it took me a while to get it to turn off completely. Not only do you have to long press the power button but you also have to long press the bluetooth button to turn everything off otherwise the bluetooth will stay on and drain the battery. Short pressing the bluetooth button will pause your media. You have to control the volume from the bluetooth device as the headset volume control only adjusts what's connected to the base station. Also you need to hold down the bluetooth button for at least 6 seconds in order for it to go into pairing mode so you can switch to another device. You will also want to download the sonar software from Steel Series so you can modify the microphone settings so your voice sounds less nasal to others. Wait for it to go on sale so you don't have to pay $300+ for it as well.

I bought these headphones to replace my aging Sony 1000XM4's. My XM4's are having a hard time with my laptops Intel Wifi 6E AX210 cards Bluetooth cutting out every now and then which was never an issue with the Previous laptop, but I also wanted to get away from the BT connection and try a dedicated transmitter. I can say these go a further distance wirelessly and through more walls than my XM4's, but the ANC is not nearly was powerful.
These headphones would greatly benefit from aftermarket ear pads. Im hoping someone like Dekoni makes some super soft leather pads to replace the stock on these as pressing the OEM pads slightly against your ears when worn greatly improves the ANC by isolating the ears more.
Overall I have tried to get these to sound similar to the XM4's and have come close, but they arent quite as good. They are close, but the XM4's I feel like have slightly more range of sound at both the high end and low (this is using the SONAR software on PC to adjust). If I want to listen to music, I find myself switching back to my XM4's.
If I had to do it again, I probably would have tried the XM5's. The pod with the digital read out is unique and the temps/usage for GPU/CPU are a nice touch when gaming, but the display being black and white loses its appeal after a few mins.
Build quality is sturdy, but the circle caps are being held on via magnets. The one side that houses the battery, seems like its barely being held in place, but it hasnt fallen off yet.
The battery charger in the pod base is also a little odd. You press it in and down somewhat like an NES game cartridge. This initially threw me because it kept popping out and wouldnt stay in to charge. But pressing it down once in, it stays.

Great headset. I have been using for over 2 years now without an issue. I did have to replace one of the batteries but it did last for over a year before failing to charge. They are vey comfortable for multi hour gaming sessions. Good sound quality. Clear mic for game chat and phone calls. I will wear them when cleaning house to listen to books or music via bluetooth frequently. ANC is not as good as my Sony MX4's but in my home it is more than sufficient. Highly recommend

An absolute banger of a headset! I love the design and sleekness of the design. Headsets nowadays seem too clunky and flashy looking but this headset is clean and sleek. The pleather ear cuffs are great and comfortable but aren't as tough as I would like. They're almost too soft. The removable battery pack is great because you can take out the dead one and add the charged one in no time. The second battery pack actually stores and charges in the audio dock which is awesome. I can listen to XBOX audio and computer audio at the same time which is ana amazing feature and you have to use the SONAR technology in the SteelSeries program to get the most out of these headphones. The headphones out of the box sound great but when you play around with the SONAR settings and find the perfect sound for you and the task you are listening to, it is game changing.
Now for my CONS which are very minimal other than one. A con is obviously the price. They are typically listed at 350 and I think that is just crazy high. I was lucky enough to get them at 250 and I think they are well worth that price. My next con is the retractable mic. This is mainly me being picky but I would prefer one to just flip up and down but I think the goal here is to also have these to carry to the airport, gym, or other places where a mic might look weird to have so this feature allows for the flexibility of both gaming and everyday activities. Lastly and probably the biggest con is the inability to switch between SONAR settings on the doc. I have two settings, gaming and normal computer/music use. As of now, you have to manually go in the SONAR app and switch your settings between the two in my case. It would be awesome to be able to toggle between the two on the docking station instead of having to use the app. Overall a fantastic product and I am glad to have pulled the trigger on these.

Great headset. Feels comfortable even when I wear my glasses. Sound is amazing- you can tune for in-game music or for hearing footsteps more clearly when playing FPS games. Battery life is way beyond what’s stated.
Only thing I’d change: make the mute button feel different from the power button. The buttons are close together. I sometimes power off the headset when I mean
to mute my mike.

One of the best purchases ive made for an add on to my gaming setup. Having 2 swappable batteries is the best, then the fact its a gaming headset that can also connect to anything with Bluetooth capabilities further adding to its versatility! The sound quality is absolutely phenomenal, and the setup and tuning is really easy to adjust! Definitely would recommend buying this headset if your thinking about it!

Headset sounds pretty good, its comfortable, the noise canceling is decent and definitely quiets unwanted outside noise, the software is solid and very customizable. The mic is decent and also has a cover you can put on. Cons: software is a pain at first because too many inputs and outputs, and headset is too expensive for what it does.

I know theres no such things as perfect, but use perfect in this discussion is worth deserve on this headphones. For those that are in a hurry, the reason why it isn’t perfect is that the noise cancellation is not up to par with the likes of Apple’s airpods, Sony, and Bose. If Apple is a 10/10 (as an example only) then this is a 5/10. The noise cancellation can compete, but it will be on the lower tier from its peers.
Now that thats out of way. The sound quality is awesome. Comfort is AWESOME. The ease of use is awesome. If you have both Xbox series X and PS5, do yourself a favor and get the Xbox version. The PS5 version is not compatible with Xbox. Another bonus is that you can hook up your phone to the headphones while you're playing games and can answer phone calls WHILE YOU’RE PLAYING GAMES, like whut?! It just works. The swappable battery that is included. Like kudos to the engineers and designers of this headphones. For $350+ it is worth-it.

This new headset is a winner! I am an avid SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless user and this new Nova models improves on everything! Much better build quality, more comfortable, better audio quality, better battery life, and the fact I can use the same headset and DAC for both my Series X and PS5 is amazing. I have been waiting for a do it all high end headset like this for a while! Very please with this so far!

I have used Astro 40TR with the mix amp. However I wanted a change and switched to Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2’s. While playing fps games though I began to miss having a physical knob to turn. I tried the Turtle Beach Stealth Pro’s, which are great, but did not fit comfortable with glasses. After some researching I turned to this premium headset. Unboxing you can feel the high quality of the headset. The OLED base station is a perfect replacement for the Astro Mix amp. You can access plenty of options and customization with it (and keep your second battery charged). Connecting to the PC allows even more access, Sonar is awesome. Plenty of custom EQ presets at your finger tips. The price is a bit steep but worth every penny for this premium setup. I plan to keep and use these for plenty of years to come. These have converted me from Astro and Turtle Beach headsets.

Probably one of the best multimedia and gaming headphones you can find on the market. Sure, when looking at the price tag you find yourself sending guessing the decision to purchase these but they are worth it. I’ve had numerous headphones in the past, i.e. Corsair, rig, turtle beach and although majority of them did a solid job, nothing compares to the steel series. The comfortable cuff design, the great battery life and the second back up battery, the sound profiles and quality, the retractable mic and the noise cancellation does it all! It’s usb c charged as well and to charge the battery from dead to full is about a 15-30 min wait time. It is safe to say I won’t be buying another pair of headphones until these absolutely break or an Act of God would have to force me to buy new ones but more than likely I’ll just buy these again

Overall - This is a great headset. Unfortunately for me, I had to return it because of 1 reason and that's the ANC. It's not that good and for now it's something I need on my headset. I do still give this a high score though because the sound is good and the being able to save the EQ is perfect for consoles.
I do recommend this to anyone unless they specifically seek great ANC. My Turtle Beach Steal 700 Gen 3 blocks out more surrounding sound and that doesn't even have ANC.
The bass is good but not too heavy. If you seek base, then I would look into the Turtle Beach Stealth Pro
If you mainly game FPS's then this is going to be perfect for you.

Overall: 8/10
It’s hard to recommend this to anyone, since most of my friends see that price and go elsewhere. But let’s put away the price. Sound quality is good, comfort is good, the included dac is much simplified than last gens Arctic’s pro wireless, and that was also a good headset with a hefty price tag. The ANC is ok on the Nova pro. Is it necessary? No. Mic is probably the least favorite as the quality is bland. Expected from a wireless headset but if you ever used a Corsair Virtuoso, that mic on wireless 2.4 is top notch and sounds really good. the Nova pro wireless mic sounds like an old phone. But you can tune it with the steel series GG app, it takes some getting used to and really need to play with the app to get the best sound or mic quality from the headphones. The thing that sold me personally is the swappable batteries. And the instant input connection of audio to and from headphones to your speakers. (No need to keep changing Audio source in your sound settings) I’ve owned for a month now and change the batteries every 12 hours of use. Which is pretty good imo.

Love the sound quality and overall build of the headset. Extremely comfortable and the dual battery is amazing one gets low or dies instant new one in as easy as 123. Only downside I have is I don’t use a pc so I can’t download different custom sound settings for the mix amp.
