The game is fantastic, only bad thing is it doesn't allow you to upload your creation for the DS. You can upload creation of game with the WII U. But the game is good to take on the go

This is a great game to make crazy Mario worlds that you can continue to modify and even share with your peeps.

We really liked Mario Maker for the Wii U and having it on the 3DS just fits with the stylus and touch screen. Would have given it 5 stars if it was playable in 3d, but it's NOT!

All of the worlds that you can play that were built by other players seem to be designed to either be almost impossible to beat or have some hidden path that only the creator would know. Other worlds are just walk through worlds that offer no resistance. In addition each world is played for just that world. There is no progression to a meaningful end like a regular mario game. So playing the game is not very fun but its kind of fun to build the worlds that you've always thought should exist in your favorite Mario games.

If you liked Super Mario Maker on the Wii U, you will love this on the 3DS. It's even better playing it on the go.

this is a good game if you don't already have the wii u version. if you don't then theres really no need to double dip. let me break it down for you. the pros and cons. this version for the 3ds has a more fleshed out single player campaign, on the other hand, it also has very limited online experience for both sharing and playing. if you don't have a wii u, this is definitely a must have 3ds game. if you do have a wii u, don't waste your time, that version is hands down the most definitive version of the same game.

Lots of fun. Old and new mario levels. Challenging new courses. Online as well to play other created courses. Online is a little weak tho. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars.
