Great security, insulation was easy and I feel more secure knowing that while I am at work I can view who is lurking around my home and I feel more secure at night and so do my children.

The set up was pretty easy, I have installed many things that need cables ran through walls so if you have not ran wires through walls it may be a bit tricky. I have only had it installed for a few weeks but it seems to work as it should. I have 3 cameras outside and one inside, the front outdoor camera seems to have a glitch and records almost constantly. I assume it will fill the memory faster than it should and is a concern but it is at our second house and I haven't had a chance to really figure out why it is doing that. The cameras have nice clear pictures and the night vision is very cool! All in all I am happy with it so far, again the install may be tricky if you haven't ran wires through walls. I have not ran into any problems other than the front camera recording almost constantly which I'm hoping is an easy fix.

Good cameras, small hard drive, poor instructions. Poor instructions lower the value of the whole system. Instructions get you hooked up and leave you wondering what to do next. Trial and error. HDD doesn't hold near enough data unless there is no motion to activate the camera.

This camera was great for what i needed and the installation was very easy.

This kit comes with everything you need for a small surveillance system. 60 ft of connectorized cables comes with it for each camera. The video quality is excellent in the daytime, (mine are outdoors) but I can't tell you how they work indoors. The video quality at night is really bad unless it is in a well lit area. I have motion lights beside 1 camera and the video is much better. So if you don't want to install any kind of outdoor lighting, this kit isn't for you......you will need to spend more money for better stuff. The DVR works well, but is difficult to set up with provided instructions as they are a bit vague. I had to go to their website and google to get things right......and I am no slouch with electronic gear since I have been in a communication business since 1980 in some form or another. You will need to be smart routing your wire since there is only 60 ft for each camera. You can buy longer cable at Best Buy off the shelf. All in all it is a good system for the money, you can identify people and vehicles easily but if you want to count eyelashes on someone standing in your driveway, you need to keep looking.

Very easy to set up the cameras and the DVR...gives a clear picture even at night...the only downside is no instructions on how to use the DVR... otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

Thiis camera is a great choice. It is easy to install, set up and it has a clear picture. It is definitely worth the price.

We purchased this for our parents. It was overall fairly easy to install. They are using it as a stand alone DVR system without hookup to a computer. We wish it was a bit easier to use like a regular DVR with a remote ( instead of a mouse interface ) . They are able to turn it on and see what is currently in camera view. It is not easy for them to do a play back on their own as they are not comfortable with a mouse/computer type interface. A remote with simple menu options would be an easier interface for them to use and understand. In the mean time they can rely on others to help them if needed to see playback. It does do a good job. The cameras are very clear and show what is in the area day or night. It is clear on even a smaller HD tv. For us the unit would have been a great choice as we are comfortable with computer/mouse type interface.

I tried a few security cameras before I settled on this one. There are a lot of wires to contend with but the picture is so much better than on the wireless systems. You can zoom in on different areas. Works well on my cell phone and tablet to see whats going on at home. Night vision isnt too bad. The DVR holds quite a bit and it is pretty easy to save things to a usb drive to transfer to the computer. Set up took a bit of time but I was able to get help from Swann to get things working the way I wanted. I have it hooked up to an old computer monitor.

Very good cameras the only problem I see is you do need adequate lighting at night other than that they're great

The set up the bad thing Is the Pixels on the camera in the night time they are blurry I suggest if u do buy these get the better pixel cameras I was in a hurry because someone broke into my car

the installation was very DYI friendly and the picture quality is very good set up on a smartphone took a little longer than expected. network access was very easy to hook up.

System was easy to install. Good night vision. Cameras easily adjustable for good coverage.

When we first tried to install the system it was a bit confusing. I'm not great with electronics. After a few phone calls and going around in circles with the customer service we finally got the system up and running. The system works great. My recommendation is save yourself the headache and have someone install it for you.

Good picture quality and a good camera to watch your house when gone

Surveillance camera system installation was fairly easy. The one thing that was not clear was getting it configured to view cameras remotely over the internet. Instructions that came was not enough. Information found online was minimal, relied on my experience installing network routers to configure the DVR to access cameras remotely. Quality of images are excellent.
