This was a replacement. The previous one immediately developed moisture behind the l lens and gave a foggy picture. After live chatting NINE people (at Best Buy), including a robot (all reading from a script), I finally got it replaced. Now the new one is doing the same thing. I have given up. Only reason I gave two stars is that the companion camera is working well ---- so far.

Although IP66 is weatherproof, the outside of the camera is still subject to frost, ice, and dew when out in the open air. We recommend you install under some sheltered location where possible but if this is not suitable for your location simply aiming the camera to look a little downward can stop moisture from settling on the camera lens. Swann offers a one-year warranty provided with a copy of your receipt or up to 36 months with valid registration on a Secure + Plan. Outside of this timeframe, we are unable to process a replacement free of charge. Stuck with a mediocre expensive system

This is to add to my 16-cam NVR which did not come with enough cameras. It's just an okay NVR, but very expensive. The camera itself is also very expensive. What can I do, but stuck with the initial desicion.

WORST service I have ever seen. Waste of money. Within 2 months all of the cameras stopped working, and all the cables were damaged.

It is very uncommon for you to experience issues right out of the package and even more so for all the cables to be damaged. In this case we recommend reaching out to our support team by phone to isolate the issue and/or set you up with a replacement given you fall within our warranty guidelines. This came damaged but I didn’t notice until months later when I tried to install it. That is the usual case with Swann though. Everything I have bought/used from them has been trash. If I could get my money back and start over I would use literally any other brand.
