So far so good! Use for basic wireless mouse and flash drives.

works fine except it doesn't work with an external dvd player - nowhere does it say it doesn't work with something that needs power and the BB sales rep should have told me.

Very spendy for what little options this product has. I would recommend spending the extra twenty bucks to get something with more options. Product has performed as expected though, no issues.

Threw my Windows into a BSOD Loop

I'm sure this is a situational issue, but I figured I'd share in case someone else has the same experience. I plugged this in with my PC on, and it worked perfectly. For reference, I'm using an Intel NUC (8th gen). Plugging the hub in made Intel trigger the download of a Serial IO Driver, which required a restart. I initially clicked 'Restart Later,' so I could take a moment to make sure the peripherals plugged into the hub were working-- they were. I manually restarted, and I was thrown into a "Driver Verifier DMA Violation" loop with the blue screen of death. It kept restarting and restarting and restarting. I messed with the BIOS and boot menu a bit, thinking Windows might be trying to boot from the hub somehow. I scoured the internet for a fix, and read somewhere that removing all unnecessary peripherals could be a solve. I unplugged this hub and Windows loaded right up. I tested a few more times, and this hub was 100% the culprit. Not sure why it won't work for me, but I'm going to exchange it for a USB-A hub and hope for different results.

I needed a 3.0 USB hub like the Targus hub because I had maximized the external connections on my new dell pc. I have a DVD drive, backup drive, and a large drive which share this device. It works well, but the directions with the hub weren't great, but it was pretty easy to install-just be patient.
