This is a cheap hub, but it works if you need some connections to be transferred from A to C, but it seems like there was too many conflicts for me. I would spend a little more and get the Satechi one.

Ended up returning, It did not support all of my usb hardware functions.

The technician at Best Buy discovered ther was a problem with this device and gave me credit towards an exchange for another.

This was a great product, very compact and felt well-made, but it just stopped working all together after only a couple months (2-3)

Not USB 3.0 so it not able to run my bigger monitor
This is a USB-C to 4 port USB 3.0 hub. It is designed to work for USB-C laptops to give them USB 3.0 ports for things like a mouse, keyboard, and hard drive. If you are looking for one that would allow a monitor connection I would suggest looking at our USB-C Dual HDMI 4K Docking Station with 100w PD Pass-Thru (DOCK423). A dangerous item for a Mac

This USB hub immediately crashed my 2018 Mac Mini, which I've only had for 10 days. It took lots of time in recovery mode to restore the computer. It says it's compatible with Macs, but this experience was frightening. I returned it immediately.

I would not recommend buying this device, did not work well for me. It made my computer freeze and crash, and other usb devices would stop working when I connected this hub. I returned it the next day

Needed a USB A plug in with multi USB A additional ports. The USB C plug in has made useless.

The USB-C port did not work on apple computer. Waste of money
