TCL is no stranger to making quality screens but their presence in the monitor market is much less known but this monitor is just as good as any other in the market and seeing TCL’s history in creating screens, this monitor is no surprise in its quality. The general build quality of the monitor is good and premium. It feels like you’re getting what you’re paying for. The QD-Mini LED is beautiful on this monitor. It’s just as good or comparable to OLEDs but more affordable. You can change the settings as well so it can fit your needs much better. Response time is good and you change to fastest if you want to but I find that the picture quality ghosts a little so if you’re not needing the fastest screen for your needs, I’d go just a drop below that. It does has auto dimming to help with screen and I find myself enjoying using that feature because I feel like I’m preserving the monitor more. The darks are very black and it’s beautiful. I did realize that if I wanted to use the 180Hz, I have to plug into the DisplayPort because the HDMI does not support it. Overall, this monitor is very solid and will not disappoint.

I almost forgot that Mini-Led was around. I did enjoy the grey color they used on the monitor. It's very subtle and fits a low-profile look. The stand is kind of wobbly. I may need to put the monitor on a monitor arm. The unboxing was as expected. You only get a DisplayPort. There are no USB ports. Which I'm fine with. A simple and clean monitor. One thing about Mini-Led is, it works well in bright areas. In my room my gaming setup is next to my window. So when the sun shines in it's harder to see my OLED monitors. The TCL G64 performed much better in that scenario. Image quality is great. I pretty much only play POE2 (Path of Exile 2) and that game can be very intensive in Endgame. The display was fine and showed off the magnificent Maps inside the game. Cons - You don't receive an HDMI port. Also, the slight wobble with the stand. Lastly, I've had the toggle knob break on a monitor before. I know most use them. But I'm not a fan of them. TCL did put it right under the monitor so it's not in a weird spot. So only a small personal gripe from me. For anyone who may not want an OLED monitor this is a great one. It's reasonably priced as well.

It really is amazing how much comes packed into this monitor. The menu is quite clear and easily understandable. - Has FreeSync variable refresh technology, to eliminate screen tearing. - Two HDMI inputs is a great touch when you consider this monitor can easily be used for console gaming. If you have both a PC and a gaming console it’s nice that you can keep them both permanently connected. - A good range of height, tilt, and screen rotation adjustment. CONS: - Personally, the Gray color scheme on the back of this monitor causes this monitor to stand out rather jarringly among all my other computer monitors that are a standard black color. Conclusion: If you are a gamer or movie lover who enjoys whatever they are playing at 180 fps with some good looking resolution and HDR to boot, you should strongly consider this monitor.

The TCL 27" G64 Series Gaming Monitor comes with a QHD HDR QD-Mini LED screen, along with additional features. The monitor comes well packaged with everything separated for easy installation. It comes with an instructional manual. However, I was able to get it all setup and running without having to use the instruction manual. The included stand is broken down into two pieces. The stand is comprised of the stand pole and stand base. It was extremely easy to connect the two together and connect it to the monitor. The back of the monitor has a removable plate that you can easily remove to use with another VESA mount stand. It was very easy to attach the included stand. It was just a matter of attaching it with a simple click. The monitor comes with several ports for connecting to your devices. . It includes 2 HDMI ports, 1 Display port and a Headphone jack. The monitor includes a Display Port cable. To use it with a laptop or computer that only has an HDMI port, you will have to use your own HDMI cable. The monitor brightness comes with the display set ti 50% brightness. I wanted mine a bit brighter. It was easy making the adjustment using the multifunctional power button. It’s a joystick style button that allows you to make selections by clicking, and moving it in different directions to make your selections. The QHD screen has a very good screen quality, and it also has good viewing angles. The 180 Hz refresh rate allows it to keep up with pretty all games that I have installed on my computer. Overall, I’m enjoying this monitor for my gaming and all other needs.
