Like the tv overall but I’ve only used it a few times and the display has started flickering

Junk, at day 7 started to see colored lines horizontally, got worse. Took back on day 14 just in time for return. Buyer beware you must return by day 15, after that who knows. Would no recommend this tv.

I’ve been using the TCL 43” Q6 for a few weeks now, and I’m seriously impressed. The picture quality is outstanding — bright, sharp, and colorful thanks to the QLED panel. Movies and shows look incredibly vibrant, and the contrast is surprisingly good for a TV in this price range. The setup was quick and easy. It connected to Wi-Fi right away, and Google TV makes finding apps and streaming services super simple. The remote is intuitive, and I love that it has voice control built in. For gaming, the 120Hz DLG feature really makes a difference — gameplay feels smooth and responsive. It’s also compact enough for a bedroom or office, but the design still looks sleek and modern. Overall, TCL really nailed the balance between performance and affordability here. If you want premium picture quality without spending a fortune, the Q6 is an excellent choice.

I got this tv so I could play my console in my bedroom, and I have found that it’s much nicer than my tv in the living room! I did have to make numerous adjustments to the picture brightness, sharpness, contrast, etc before I was satisfied with the picture. But I can say it looks great now. One strange thing I noticed was that I had to turn off some of the “motion smoothing” features advertised because it made images in movies and games smear between frames, which was honestly more distracting that whatever motion was going on in the game or movie. I didn’t really like the google tv UI, because it felt very cluttered (and personalized!), but this was easily resolved by switching it to “apps only.” I also really like that I can directly pair my Bluetooth headphones to the tv—though I do think the built-in speakers are pretty impressive!

I purchased the TCL Q651G in the 43in for my bedroom and am very happy with it! Once the picture settings are calibrated, the pictures is very excellent! There is very little to no lag opening any of the apps, and the google home interface is so easy to use. The only downside is the viewing angle is VERY limited, so if you are looking for a tv for a big room or an entertainment room tv, I wouldn’t recommend this one for that reason alone. Other than that, I would highly recommend this tv!

I've had this over a month now, and I'm very happy with this, especially for the price. Colors are excellent. It's much brighter than i expected, to the extent that at times in a dark room at night it's almost too bright. I haven't played with the calibration or advanced settings much, it's that the whites at almost too prominent. It's not a flaw, I'm sure i can tweak it a bit. And it's perfectly bright when the morning sun comes in through the window, colors still popping clear. So it would be great in a really bright room. Motion judder is usually non-existent, with one caveat (more on that below) i have little experience with the higher end OLEDs with higher refresh rates, so maybe it could be better, but for a 43" TV that we normally watch from about 15' away, it's smooth. Upscaling of older shows, all the way back to 480p/sd is great. Very clean and looks great. Sound is really nice. Plenty of power to fill a medium sized bedroom with the volume set near the middle so there's no over distortion. A really nice feature here is with one button on the remote all the most common picture and sound settings pop up discreetly across the bottom of the screen, including all the presets (HDR modes & Sound modes), so anyone can easily, and after a few weeks intuitively, switch to the best settings for whatever they are watching (Movies, sports, talk shows, Tv shows, nature docs, etc). This is one of my favorite things, as i said, this thing can almost be too bright and colorful, so based on what I'm watching, &/or when I'm watching it and the room conditions, i can tweak the basic modes, brightness, color saturation, etc, easily without and quickly, without worrying about getting out back to my "favorite" settings, because it's just as easy to get it back. This is something that's been more work with all the other 4k & HDR TVs I've had. With this it's simple. So the software (GoogleTV). I'm getting used to it. I still miss my FireTV. It's generally pretty quick. Very little lag between apps, etc. It's a little more "suggestive" like you'd expect, but not in an interfering way. But some of the apos, most notably Pluto so far, seem to have an occasional judder issue. Meaning I'm watching a show or movie with ads, and an ad plays, when the organ program starts up again, it judders/lags/unsynchs. And it can compound, and get worse with each ad. Semi regular with pluto, happened with something else too. I'm not sure if it's GoogleTV, the Plutob App, the TVs AI switching between the movie and ad (switching Resolutons/HDR/etc). Most of what we watch has no ads, and losing Pluto isn't a big deal, but thought I'd point that out.

I bought this as a cheap extra TV for my basement where I moved my Xbox Series X for gaming and just to have one alternate TV in the house. For the money, it's solid. Works well, picture is fine (not amazing but I wasn't expecting that) and games look good. The blacks are kinda rough (in that they tend to be greyish) and motion interpolation isn't always the best. But for the money it's a great value and runs all the streaming stuffs you'd expect it to. VERY light too which was nice for mounting on the wall.

Best TV for its price. Even though its not an acrual OLED the blacks are truly black (like ny samsung phone) and colors pop. Unlike other tv brands TCL has quick response and great sound as well. EXTREMELY HAPPY!

I remember when a 43" TV would cost a pretty penny. For a couple of $100s decided to give this unit a try for a secondary TV. Set up was simple. I like it that I can control Google devices from the TV. Overall picture is decent. Sound is good enough. There is a little bit of bleeding on the blacks but once again, it's a relative cheap TV. My other option was a Hisense for a couple of dollars less. However, my old Hisense just barely made it a year before it crapped out. That one, I spent a pretty penny on.

My son and I had a blast setting up the t.v. Easy to follow instructions and exciting displays. Once the t.v. was set up- wow what a vision! My old lady eyes could not believe how beautiful the colors were. My son turned on his football game and the players looked like real people. Better that attending an actual game and cheaper too. I will recommend this t.v. 100 percent

I bought this TCL Q6 QLED as a Christmas present for my son, who is obsessed with gaming on his Xbox Series X. Picture quality is exceptional. The sound quality is excellent. The television was so easy to setup, even for this non-tech kind of person.

I have this smart tv in my 24 Peterbilt 579. The picture is amazing and it keeps me watching movies and stuff. I have it paired with the TCL Q75H sound bar and it is an outter world experience. The TCL brand is no joke. You'll be surprised at visual effects and the audio dynamics. It's a great purchase.

I haven't shopped for a TV in almost 8 years and I normally go with the VISIO brand for cost and familiar smart TV interface. I was very suprised by the TCL brand. Both by the clarity of the picture and by the responsiveness, compatibility, and ease of use of the Google user interface. Im always a bit timid of newer and less familiar brands (Visio, LG, Samsung, etc being more familiar) but TCL has been a great brand. I actually returned the Hisense TV with FireTV smart apps bc of its frequent app failure and input issues. TCL did a great job and I will definitely be looking for more Google TV devices in the future. I am an iPhone user and was suprised how well i could cast from my phone to the TV, control the TV using my iPhone Remote App, and simply integrate it into my Apple Home environment. TCL and GoogleTV is a big thumbs up.

I've had the TCL 43" Class Q6-Series 4K UHD HDR QLED Smart Google TV (2024) for almost a month now, and it's been excellent. I use it in my bedroom, mostly for streaming and some casual gaming, and it performs way above expectations for this price range. What I love: The QLED picture quality is vibrant and sharp—colors really pop, and 4K content looks fantastic. Even standard HD streams look great thanks to solid upscaling. The Google TV interface is smooth and responsive, with all the top streaming apps ready to go right out of the box. I also love the voice remote—makes searching so easy, especially when I’m lying in bed. The Game Mode is a nice touch for my PlayStation, offering low input lag and solid image quality. The size is just right for smaller spaces like bedrooms or home offices. Setup was fast, and the interface is user-friendly. What could be better: The built-in speakers are just okay—clear enough, but a little flat. I’ll eventually add a soundbar. The remote also feels a bit basic, but it works fine. Bottom line: For the price, this TCL Q6 is a fantastic value. Picture quality, smart features, and overall ease of use make it a great pick. Highly recommend for anyone needing a high-quality TV in a smaller room.

I got this TV on sale for $219, and for that price HOLY features! The screen gives a vibrant color that isn’t over or under saturated, the display is 60 Hz but for 4K content that’s more than smooth enough! Setup was easy, the processor and OS is fast and easy to figure out. You can disable targeted ads in the settings which I love, and the overall device is sleek. Having HDR, Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision on the features box was honestly great. Watching TV and Movies has been amazing and I would strong recommend it on or off sale. The speakers aren’t very good, but I would strongly recommend a soundbar to fix that. Most TV’s have poor audio quality, even in the expensive price point.

Just like it was suppose to be. I use it mostly for gaming. Color is excellent, picture is perfect. Would highly recommend the TCL to family and friends.
