I've had the TCL 43" Class Q6-Series 4K UHD HDR QLED Smart Google TV (2024) for almost a month now, and it's been excellent. I use it in my bedroom, mostly for streaming and some casual gaming, and it performs way above expectations for this price range. What I love: The QLED picture quality is vibrant and sharp—colors really pop, and 4K content looks fantastic. Even standard HD streams look great thanks to solid upscaling. The Google TV interface is smooth and responsive, with all the top streaming apps ready to go right out of the box. I also love the voice remote—makes searching so easy, especially when I’m lying in bed. The Game Mode is a nice touch for my PlayStation, offering low input lag and solid image quality. The size is just right for smaller spaces like bedrooms or home offices. Setup was fast, and the interface is user-friendly. What could be better: The built-in speakers are just okay—clear enough, but a little flat. I’ll eventually add a soundbar. The remote also feels a bit basic, but it works fine. Bottom line: For the price, this TCL Q6 is a fantastic value. Picture quality, smart features, and overall ease of use make it a great pick. Highly recommend for anyone needing a high-quality TV in a smaller room.

Quality of TV is very good but not excellent. I dont like the light bleeding from the corners. But images look awesome, light and colorful media looks beautiful and the tv frames are slim and pretty. Speakers are awesome true, sound better than the typical tv speakers and has surround and bass effects that make it better

Great quality TV for the pricepoint. I use this outdoors in a covered bar area. It is pretty bright for a $200 TV...obviously doesn't compare with actual outdoor rated models, but it is 1/5 the price. If it lasts me a few seasons I will be very happy. It so far has survived a summer/fall/start of winter without any special care (other than putting a canvas cover on it when inclement weather hits).

I don’t think so. Our family’s TCL TVs have gone up in technology and ability as the years pass. But the prices actually come down while doing so! The differences in our first one (65” about ten years ago) and this latest are glaringly obvious. The picture quality, the ease of use, the SPEED of use, are all phenomenal. And at a price nearly one fourth what we paid for that older one years ago? I’m sold, and will continue to buy TCL for the time being!

The TCL Q6 is a VERY solid, entry/mid-level TV.

I am reviewing the 43", and the Q6 is an AWESOME budget TV! Very easy to follow set-up, takes maybe 10-15 minutes once the TV is out of the box and unwrapped. The picture quality is very good for a mid/entry level TV, however the viewing angle can be poor if you're not directly in front of the TV. Good options for HDR gaming and watching sports. If you can get this TV on Black Friday or a similar sale, I would say go for it! If HDR gaming is important to you, get the 55" or larger for the improved VRR. TCL did a great job!

Good picture quality and sound for the ~$200 TV category. Google TV software is easy to use, remote is simple layout to use, I use with Apple TV 4K (with the TCL remote controlling TV and Apple TV) and that makes picture quality even better and more functionality with the TCL remote.

At first I was taken back by its rich colors, but quickly noticed in bright rooms the screen is very reflective from windows or bright lights. The colors are very good on this Tv but at night the blacks can a be a bit dark. So dark scenes can be hard to see everything. The sound is amazing I don't need a sound bar with this tv. The google menu is a bit sluggish at times. I use a apple TV and in past my other TVs (Sony, LG) when I turn on my apple TV the TV would turn on. TCL TV does not. I do like the Tv and will keep it. The quality of the picture is so amazing. For the price you cant beat it.

I have only had it for a couple of weeks. So far I am very pleased. Excellent picture. The two 15 watt built in speakers get extremely loud but the TV could use a little more bass. I plan on purchasing a TCL soundbar (S55H) with subwoofer to pair with the TV. I bought this TV at BestBuy. I plan on keeping it for several years, so I also purchased the 5-year Geek Squad warranty. It has tons of channels built in and I have my PC hooked up to it. It replaced my 19-year-old 42" Vizio non-smart TV so it is a world of difference. It's like comparing a go-cart to a rocket ship. It is 2" smaller than the Vizio, yet the screen is 1" larger because of the thin bezels. For less than $230 (around half of what I paid for the Vizio ten years ago) it is a fantastic deal. I currently have it set up in my den. I am considering purchasing a larger one for my living room because I am so impressed with this one. I love the 4K QLED screen. I never really considered buying a TCL TV before, but after using this one I am sold on the brand. I really like this TV and I highly recommend it to anyone considering purchasing a new 43" TV.

This television is exactly what I need for it to be. It's a Google TV, it's very, very bright, produces a good picture and it has decent sound. I use this television as a second screen for computer (not a gaming situation). It's also a fun television to have.

The TCL q6 has a wonderful picture. Using the Google TV platform is pretty easy to adapt to. I have noticed it comes disconnected from Wi-Fi occasionally, so still trying to figure that out. It reconnects right away, but sort of annoying. This has been a wonderful upgrade for our bedroom TV.

Great TV for the price! Great picture and sound quality, nice features. One star deduction goes for the remote control. No numbers to select desired TV channels, no play/pouse/rew/ff buttons. This remote serves for streamers, but lack of those buttons is a negative point. Especially for elderly people

The QLED picture quality is just too good

I bought this TV based on watching many YouTube reviews and reading many other buyers' comments. After watching a variety of programs on it for a week, I decided to return it. Why? Because the QLED quality of the color was just too good. When watching a movie I felt like I was right in the studio with the actors. All the colors were so sharp and the depth of the colors was amazing. There was a clarity setting on the picture menu that I set at 1 (the minimum) and the picture was still very real. It was so good that I could not watch a movie because I felt like I was watching someone's smartphone video. That is how great the color was. Sporting events were spectacular. I thought I was standing on the court or in the field. I decided to return the TCL QLED TV to get an Insignia LED TV, which I am very content with, and saved about $70. The clerk at the Best Buy return counter asked me what was wrong with the TCL TV. I said, "Nothing. The picture is just too real for me to watch." With all that said, before you buy this TCL QLED TV, go to the store and see what the picture actually looks like.

This replaced a 32-inch TV on a wall mount. Had to get two additional screws as there were only 2 provided with the TV. Picture is awesome and setup was a snap. one of the reasons I got this TV was because it had both a 3.5 mm jack for headphones and also had Bluetooth for headphones.

This is the first TV I bought since like 2010, and I’m very happy with the purchase. It is compatible with my Google Home however it doesn’t turn on when I do ask Google Home to turn it on, however, it does work once my TV is on for me to play other things. It’s a very nice TV and I am happy with my purchase, I can’t complain! It’s very easy to use and user-friendly too.

Note: bought on sale for $220. Fantastic picture quality, color, and brightness for the price! I had a strict TV-size constraint for my room and unfortunately there are not many options for worthwhile TVs smaller than 55" besides expensive options like the LG C4 OLED. A coworker of mine told me about this TV and I'm amazed at how clear it looks despite being under $300! I mainly use it for YouTube and gaming on a PS5. I do not game very much, so I did not opt for a 120Hz display. This TV DOES NOT have a 120Hz display, although they have a "MotionRate" feature that can emulate a higher refresh rate through some frame-smoothing thing. I have not personally used it, and do not intend to as I have heard that it is not very good. For a 60Hz TV, this is a great option for the size and price. The SOUND QUALITY of the speakers was the most disappointing element of the TV. I recently purchased a 55" QM7 from TCL (right after they released the QM7K models :/) for my mother and the speakers included in the TV on that model are absolutely fantastic. It was genuinely amazing how good they sounded without any extra audio equipment. However, the Q6 does not have anywhere close to the sound quality that the QM7 has, which is to be expected for a much cheaper model.

The tv is much better than I thought it would be. The picture is super crisp with the ability to switch from vivid, sports, movies and other options. The sound is really good. I played some music videos that I have heard thousands of times. The tv was picking up some of the elements of the song that I have never heard through my stereo speakers or headphones.
