Little robust but good quality. A lot of confusion in the comments that it doesn’t work in 120hz and start’s going black for a second. It does work, I fixed it by buying a quality cable (roketfish 8k). Great for gaming. Upscaling is not the best though

Wowzers. I love this TV. I was looking for a decent TV for my game room, I knew what I wanted and what I wanted to spend, but I struggled to find anything for quite a long time. Then, I noticed this gem. I thought to myself, at this price even if it's terrible I'm not out too much. This TV had the specs I wanted and the price was really good. So I decided to take a leap and hope for the best and oh boy, I'm so glad I did. I was a little nervous at first, I've never owned a Google TV before. Only really ever used WebOS or a FireStick. However, the Google interface is now my favorite of all of em. The picture is superb. Content is crystal clear, even older movies look amazing. For TV speakers it has amazing sound and I didn't realize until after I got it home that it supports Dolby Atmos which always delivers. Gaming on this TV is perfection. Whether is Series X or PS5. Both look fantastic and if you have a game that takes advantage of the 120 refresh. *Chef's Kiss* This TV quickly became my favorite in the entire house. It looks and functions better than my living room TV that was 3 times the price. TCL has once again blown my mind.

Good TV. Great for gaming, HDR 4k 120hz. TCL makes great TVs, with awesome picture quality. I would have preferred Roku Operating system over Google, but this 55R646 was on sale for $399! Great option for the price.

We bought a TCL 75" 4k TV from you about a year ago. Same as this 55" TCL except no Mini-LEDs. That has exceptional picture quality. This 55 is even better, no doubt due to the Mini-LEDs. Customers are beginning to notice that TCL now represents the best value in flat screen 4k TV. As well, the quality (color, dynamic range & more) is equal to the very best brands but at a much lower cost! We just hope that TCL will continue to offer such exceptional products at such reasonable cost. If so, TCL is likely to become the #1 brand in TV. The picture on this 55 is good enough to be a computer monitor!!! Never before could a TV display jpg & png files as well as a Mac Retina 5K monitor. Those are only 27" and having 55" for Photoshop etc. is unheard of! This is a product good enough to please everyone. Be wise and make your next TV a TCL with local dimming and possibly Mini-LEDs.

Amazing Picture, Operating System, not so much. Fantastic black levels, decent internal speakers, true 120hz motion capture. Android TV OS is glitchy and fails in comparison to Roku.

Sharp image, good color reproduction, doesn't show much glare, loads of features, excellent refresh rate, and Google TV is great. Unfortunately it suffers some issues with VRR causing the image to flicker and only has 2 HDMI 2.1 ports. For most people these are non-issues but PS5 and PC gamers may be disappointed with the VRR. I was able to mitigate *most* of the VRR issues by installing an update that isn't publicly available, but I had to find a Telegram link on a web forum and then wade through the collection of firmware on there to get it. Now VRR flickers the backlight if it's under a certain refresh rate but works fine when above that threshold, so it's at least usable.

I almost exclusively use this TV for xbox series x gaming. I have watched a few 1080 and 4k sdr as well as hdr movies on it as well. Gaming on this set is superb. 4k @ 120hz works very well though i did disable freesync. Its just not worth the potential bugs since freesync does very little for consoles. The clarity is fantastic and the motion during gaming is very good. HDR games look great (the games that do hdr well). My panel appears to be a very good panel, nearly 0 dse, black uniformity is excellent as well. The Google UI on this set is overly complicated. I miss being able to set any picture mode in "game" mode vs having a set mode for it. A lack of a dedicated input button is obnoxious but that is a nitpick. Motion on streaming content outside of game mode can be jittery at times ive noticed, its not all the time so i assume this is a software issue. The picture quality is outstanding. You're getting a picture that is on par and in some content better than flagships that cost double the price. All in all if you want a $1500 picture out of an $750 tv and dont mind the ui quirks purchase it. In fact with the money you save buy a high end roku or apple tv and eliminate the quirks and you'll still save a ton.

Bought this TV based off the reviews from Rtings website. I have a Sony X90J and the quality on the TCL is dang near just as good as the Sony. Don't get me wrong the X90J is "pretty" with it's vivid colors and all that jazz but this ain't that far behind. I'm really glad I bought it. I mainly use it to play games and watch Hulu/Netflix etc. I haven't tested fully the TV itself with just the Xbox (my Nakamichi soundbar doesn't support some of the features like 120hz @4k but does do 1444p @120hz also doesn't do Dolby vision for gaming) But even with the soundbar being the "middle man" the TV looks great. Colors are nice though the audio is lackluster when compared to my Sony. Overall as my living room tv on a wall mount I'm highly satisfied and would highly recommend this to anyone that asks me.

This is a great TV I’ve had it for a while and have no complaints about it. Good for gaming and good picture quality and good color.

Hey guys i have this tv myself i use it for gaming & i must say its a good entry level tv to 4k 120 gaming on next gen consoles especially for the price…I’ve reviewed this tv on my Youtube channel @ Tone Casual Gaming so please feel free to check out the videos of gameplay that was captured from this TCL 646…. The only reason why most people are giving it a bad review is because of the google OS which takes some getting use to other than that & a few tech issues in game mode this tv is solid…. Great TV! Really bright, blacks look really good. I'm still playing with the brightness and color settings but I'm very satisfied so far. Also, the 120hz is great for playing with my Xbox Series X.

The TCL 55 Class 6 Series Mini LED QLED TV offers good picture quality at an affordable price, but it falls short with connectivity issues. The picture quality is great. Gaming on the system is great. The sound is okay. The one downside is that it's really hard to cast devices to it ...it works like 1/2 the time. Other than that a solid TV for the price I got it at.

Excellent TV, very good sound and video quality and great for gaming. I use it with PS5 and 120 hz works well with games.

Got this on sale for $559, it was a huge upgrade from my Samsung mu6290. What a great deal for a 120hz panel with mini LEDs. I was surprised how bright it is and HDR looks fantastic. It pairs well with my PC and PS5 for HDR gaming. I'm glad I snagged this TV. The fit and finish is great. The finished metal bezels are nice touch. The Google TV ui has some minor quirks but doesn't seem to have the issues that have plagued past users. Current firmware updates have seemed to resolved a lot of that. This TV is not quite 5 star TV but a 4.5.

Really good tv, I enjoy how smooth and fast it was to update and work, excellent quality of picture and brightness. Also playing games on it quite enjoying. Excellent deal. Lots of bang for your buck.

This is a great main TV or secondary TV. I love the GoogleTV platform more than the Roku TCLs. Gets a great picture. I would give it 5 stars but for some reason, even after a few FW updates, must occasionally unplug and plug back in as the OS gets sluggish or will even freeze. You can turn off the “Quick On” feature which mostly fixes this but each time the TV must pretty much power up from zero.
