This is thing is HUGE and I love it. Nothing is close to this size and price point. The Geek Squad team carried this massive box to my 2nd floor loft and installed the TV. The mount I had purchased was not big enough. They showed me the correct one and came back out a few days later to finish the work. Excellent service, communication and work.

Best Large TV for the Price. I was going for a short throw until I saw this TV. We are vary happy that we went with this TV as this is our primary living room TV and light in the room is no issue, Great color and a Great Picture.

Great tv, just a little pricey compared to the 86 and other tvs. Would buy more if price was better. The only downside is the width its hard to find a stand

The Clarity of the TCL 98 compared to my 10 year old 90 Inch the clarity is much worse. The TCL Clarity control barely increase Sharpness. Best Buy offered a new 98 inch but two Good Squad arrived. They said such a big TV will look less sharp. If this issue can't be clear up I will return the TV. So far Best Buy has been Great

Yhe best light or quality you’ll get from this tv will be from the PS5. Outside of that, its no different then a basic tv

This TV replaced a 17 year old 92" DLP that came with our house as part of a built in home theatre. Imagine the disappointment when the DLP died on us with the replacement part to fix it, no longer available. We thought we were going to be stuck with an 85 or 86, since it seemed anything bigger was five figures expensive. Then we came across this big beautiful monster. It's now been a couple of weeks since delivery and set up and we're extremely pleased with the TV. We're feeding it signal from a firestick, but the TV has so many built in apps and the ability to download more, so a firestick or roku aren't necessary. Our firestick has saved passwords so it'll stay where it's at. If you do decide to go the way of a firestick for your content, be sure to get the 4k version. The sound isn't bad and it's got a nice sub on the back to give it some bottom. A sound bar or home theatre amp will really wake it up. We didn't make our purchase through best buy, because they couldn't get it to us as quick as amazon did, plus the reward points from amazon were quite large. I did go back to best buy for a sound bar though. You won't be disappointed with this one!

I didn't believe the guy who said he liked the quality better than his Sony, but guess what, so do I ! And with the Onkyo sound system built in, you just can't go wrong at this price. No brainer here.

Finally, a decent massive TV that I will never have to upgrade due to size, this is the biggest TV that will fit in my space.

Let’s face it, you buying this for the size and “cheap” price, not picture quality. Picture quality is on par with a middle to lower end tv, don’t expect anything close to the high end picture from other big brands. But that is ok considering the average population couldn’t tell or give a crap when you put a top line fully calibrated oled next to a $1000 led tv playing the same 4K source. Size > all right? My biggest issue with this tv is the stupid design of its stand, it is on the very edge, for a 98” tv that means you are forced to get a 90”+ stand, and most tv stand is nowhere close to that wide. Whoever doesn’t this needs to have their examined, instead of just putting the stand close in the middle where a normal tv stand can fit. Now you have to through away your old tv stand, spend additional money and effort to find a 90” wide stand, or have to goto ikea and build a cheap mesh mash besta wide enough to put this on….stupid.

Do not buy this Tv. This is the 2nd one with an issue. The tv flashes white randomly (very fast like a camera flash). Best buy replaced it once but its still having an issue

BestBuy keeps deleting my reviews. I'll be closing my account. Believe me, this TV is NOT worth it especially for the price & stupid screen size. Why not 100 inch? 98 is a reidclous number
