    I have a Gen 2 Tesla Charger for my wife and purchased this Gen 3 for myself when I got a Tesla. This charger is significantly easier to install, smaller footprint, and the charging cable is much thinner and easier to work with a hang then the Gen 2. Overall a significant improvement

    This was in stock, was able to run down to my local Best buy and grab it without waiting for shipping. Installed inside my garage near the door, cable reaches the charge port on my model 3 nosed into the driveway. It is rated to be installed outside if that's your preference. Charges at my cars max 48A.
