The magnificent seven is a 1960 western film that takes place in the wild west and shows a story of 7 brave men who stand up and defend a village of farmers from an enemy.

Super easy to program, the remote works really fast, the colors are excellent, we really love our new toy.

This original take on Magnificent Seven is better than the new one. I liked the cast of actors as well as the location/sites. The Mexican actors were very good too.

Always pleased with Samsung products. Went well with my Samsung TV. Nice sound.

With an incredible cast (Yul Brynner, Steve McQueen, James Coburn, Charles Bronson, Eli Wallach, and others) and a great score by Elmer Bernstein, this movie still stands as great entertainment.

This is a remake from Akira Kurosawa's classic film "Seven Samurai" but with a western spin to it. This remake as well as the original were great movies to watch. Has a slew of excellent actors.

The Hollywood classic. Incredible cast great story that you may have seen before but great nonetheless. I highly recommend this film

This movie is a classic. I bought it to round out my collection. Lots of stars and some good (60's level) action.

This movie is one of the best western ever made, can watch this over and over and never get tried of watching. A must buy!

This was viewed on a 65" Sony A8H OLED TV, with a Sony UPB-X800 UHD Player and Zeskit Lite 48 gbps HDMI cables running through a Denon 4k AVR. This bluray is very nice upgrade from the 2001 MGM DVD using the same AV equipment. The picture quality and audio clarity is much improved. The coloring of the movie is brown with very little color that pops, it's a Western set in Mexico. The trees are dark green and a few shirts are bright red, as they should be. The are some dirt specs ingrained in the opening of the movie, but nothing like the 2001 DVD. I did notice some heavy use of contrast in a few scenes, one being the Steve McQueen/Yul Brenner Boot Hill wagon scene. This classic western retelling of "Seven Samurai" has a great soundtrack. It is front heavy, with center channel dialog and left/right object effects. I wish there was a little more from the surrounds. Maybe a 4K upgrade will be available in the future. I am giving this a 4.5 overall. The color grading could be slightly improved, as well as some film cleanup.

A classic. Rarely has any western been bettered. Based on a classic Japanese movie of course.
