Unit worked for just over a year. Pump shuts down on start up .Contacted Thera body who said boots were out of warranty.They sent me a 40% discount to purchase another unit . No offer to fix pump . There better products on the market .Stay away from Therabody

I purchased this item for my mother.It seems to work as its needed too,however I feel the fitment could be misleading.My mother is about 5'2" and the small seems to be quite longer than expected.Other than that,product is good and pump is quiter than I expected.Not an easy item to store away,but not a deal breaker.Very impressed with the packaging.

First of all, I was very impressed by the packaging. It was like opening a new iPhone, lol! I was surprised by how compact everything was packed. I have been prepping for a half marathon in a few months and was very excited to get my hands on these. I am starting to get older and the soreness is getting harder and harder to get rid of. Anything I can do to reduce my recovery time would be a huge help. The Air Prime is the lowest end of the offering from Therabody, so you don't get all of the bells and whistles like the Pro or the Jet Boots. That being said, I don't really need them so I am fine with the Prime. The kit comes with the boots, blocker plugs, the pump, a power adaptor, and a carry pouch. Setup is super easy. After charging the pump, I put the boots on, plugged in the hoses and started it up. I also downloaded the app, but I couldn't get the pump to sync with bluetooth. I'm not that bothered by it so I gave up on it pretty quick. There are 4 time intervals: 20, 40, 60, and continuous. There is no countdown timer. I imagine there probably is one in the app, but I can just use my phone timer if I really need to. Using the system is a breeze. You basically put them on, turn on the pump, and let the magic happen. The boots gradually compress your legs from the bottom to the top pumping the blood up to your body. This increases the blood return back into your legs with brings better oxygenation, more nutrients, and increases lymph flow. All of these factors work to reduce muscle soreness. The result are pretty remarkable. My rebound time has reduced tremendously right off the bat. I really think that these boots will serve a great purpose in my running. I couldn't be more happy and I stand by the 5 star rating.

The Therabody - RecoveryAir Prime Compression Bundle is amazing! Every athlete should have these! I weight train several days a week, I run daily and play basketball daily. As a result of such continuous activity, at times my legs feel very fatigued and sore. Sometimes lingering pain in the calf area or just below the knee. After using the Therabody - RecoveryAir Prime Compression system I have noticed an immediate improvement in recovery time, and a lasting relief from aches and pains in the legs, foot arches, ankles and shins. The system is really easy to use. Just unbox and put the boots on. Turn the system on to your desired compression setting and let the RecoveryAir Prime work its magic. I typically notice significant relief in my legs (quads & hamstrings) within 10 minutes. It's a very soothing experience. I have never used a system that provides such effective and long lasting relief as this Therabody - RecoveryAir Prime Compression Bundle. My lower legs feel completely rejuvenated after using the compression system. Sometimes after consecutive days of sprinting, I have to do lighter runs for a few days while my muscles recuperate. Now, thanks to the Therabody RecoverAir system, I don't have to limit my workouts as much. I can sprint for more days consecutively, because my legs have recuperated faster as a result of using this system. Even the minor (sometimes significant) discomfort that occurs in my in my arches after consecutive workouts is easily relieved. This is a fantastic compression system! Any athlete that puts heavy demand on their legs and feet would certainly benefit from this system. I highly recommend the Therabody - RecoveryAir Prime Compression Bundle.

I have lymphedema, sometimes it is hard to get them zipped up completely. Medium set was correct size for the length of my legs. Things that could an improvement on these, is if they were somewhat adjustable ie. maybe a second zipperro open if they need to accommodate a slightly larger circumference leg? Possibly some straps if they can't be zipped to the top? When I can't get them fully zipped, if I go higher than the 20 setting it starts unzipping itself. The other is, they deflate manually. That's not that big of a deal tho. In the morning, it has a good portion of the fluid squeezed from my legs. That has helped drastically with the leg pain I had been waking up with. Also my legs feel better for the majority of my work day, which is 12 & 1/2 hours. I've had them a couple of weeks now, & have been running them for 5 to 6 hours per night with no issues.

Very nice recovery boots. Very useful as the pump has an insider battery so no need for them to be plugged. Easy to store.

We purchased these boots and loved them. They especially work great for POTS, or other dysautonomic orthostatic intolerance issues. We used the boots maybe 6-7 times over about 10 days and the pump controller suddenly stopped working. We could turn on the unit (battery fully charged, but we also tried plugging in the unit), yet when we pressed "play" nothing would happen. We tried adjusting everything and removing the air tubes from the pump and starting all over again with no luck. We had to return these boots and didn't buy another pair after reading a number of similar reviews across the web, plus others related to this product breaking numerous times within the year long warranty. We were happy that we had purchased these through Best Buy, because the return process was simple.

Love them but battery drains quickly. Fits perfectly.

I bought a Therabody recovery system for my legs a year and a half ago. The pump suddenly lost it's ability to fully inflate the boots rendering the system useless. I contact Therabody inquiring about about getting a replacement pump. I even offered to buy the replacement pump. After multiple attempts to contact them (which I can tell you is not an easy task), I received this response: "we are unable to offer replacements or repair services for any Therabody devices or components". This system was over $600. For that price I don't feel it's an unreasonable expect to be able to buy replacement parts. My warning is to steer clear of any Therabody product as they don't last and the company does not stand behind their products.

Waste of money. Make very sure you get the right size as BB will charge you 15% restocking if you make the mistake and have to exchange! They charged me $85 for the privilege to have bought a size too long. I found the pump not strong enough to feel any compression relief and got better recovery with my percussion massager.
