    Simple dash cam. Just wish that it would record all the time instead of just in an accident.

      Hi there,

      Thank you for your review! Just to clarify, the dash cam does record in continuous recording mode as soon as it powers on. In other words, the unit is always recording as long as it is connected to a power source. The dash cam will only record an event when incident recording mode is triggered.

    Aside from the camera making the chimes when it detects a bump it's a great camera to have

    Easy to install and having the ability to just pop out the card for viewing is great. The power cord was defective though so it constantly powers on and off (or doesn't bother to start up at all). Had to buy a new cord for $30 bucks...

    We purchased this in case we were ever in an accident that it would provide clear proof of fault. The camera is small and the resolution is great. Hope to never need it but provides us with a piece of mind.

    I installed this in my wife's car and she told me that she loves it! She did ask me to turn off the audio recording though, she does want her singing in the car being recorded. Lol!

    Turns on about 3 seconds after you turn on the engine and records as you go. Don’t need to format every day etc and I like how I can forget I even have it there

    I have the F550, and it's given me problems with WIFI connectivity, and requires a firmware update which is complicated. I bought this one thinking it would be easier to use, but very limited functions and no GPS onboard.
