Bought it as a Christmas gift and it's not even December yet

This camera is very affordable, and easy to install.

I purchased this product and I could never download the videos onto my computer because it did not read my card properly. I tried to move it around so it would make a connection and once in a while it would work. Unfortunately it stopped working after a couple of times and was never able to erase or clear out the card since I couldn't connect it to the computer. I'm a busy person so I didn't have time to go to the store and return it before the month and a half. When I finally took it to the store they said it had been too long and I had to go through the manufacturer.. So I've been stuck with this camera without being able to use it.. what a waste of money!!!!

Low end camera, this will be the last Thinkware cam I will get. Other than being easy to install, it was easy to remove after it failed! I would recommend another brand.

It chirps when you plug it in and keeps chirping. It's annoying because you can't listen to your music or talk to anyone with the chirping.

okay, works, but no screen. Also hit a bump and it records as i'm having accident

Doesn't have wifi had to return there is no way to connect it to your phone

Pros: 1. Since this is the capacitor powered model, it is more resistant to extreme weather than its battery powered sister model. It should be tough enough to handle California weather, especially during the summer. 2. Its small size & lack of display screen makes it less of a distraction since its able to hide behind the mirror. 3. Parking Mode & GPS is available (with extra accessories), but I don't really need them. 4. Setup using the Micro SD card might actually be good thing. The camera has no buttons other than the manual REC button. You wont have to worry about Curious Fingers. 5. Continuous Mode & Loop Recording overwrite the oldest file when the Micro SD card reached its limit. Cons: 1. It comes with an 8GB Micro SD Card, but the pre-installed setup software, user manuals, & depending how you setup the recordings can take a lot of space in so little time. What I did, is I deleted the French translation PDF manual & disabled parking mode & GPS. I will upgrade to a higher space Micro SD Card in the future. 2. The box only comes with 5 adhesive clips. Use tape until you can buy more. A dash mat can help hide part of the cable. You could also hardwire, but its not for everyone. 3. Lets admit it, there will NEVER be a 100% PERFECT dash cam. The video quality is average. That doesn't mean its bad, the Sony sensor helps it a bit. Just keep the windshield & headlights as clean as possible. 4. I wish the videos wouldn't be separated into clips, but this isn't a camcorder. In a scale from 1 to 10, I would give it a 8.5. Im glad I got it before the price increase.

When my wife had an accident, it couldn't record the exact moment due to the vehicel crash shock. I can't recommend this product.

Thought this would be a good purchase but I was disappointed with what I wound up with.

PROS: I like that the camera is small and hardly noticeable. Picture quality is good. Easy to record. CONS: No quick view. Once the adhesive mount is installed, there is no right or left adjustment. Your only hope is that the camera is not pointed to far up or too far down. Also, with no quick view, you must unplug the power cord, remove the camera from the mounting plate, remove the card, insert the card into the adapter, insert the adapter into the PC . . . whew, you get my point.

Too much money for that works less than half the time

This dash cam was very simple to install, the video is very good, I've bought other dash cam's and returned them all because of poor quality, This camera is so simple to operate, there is one down side though, you have to mount the bracket to the windshield with tape I'd rather have the suction type of mount, but this is still a great buy

The dashcam was easy to set up, works well, and the picture quality is excellent. I am amazed that, for the price, it works this well. I would highly recommend this dashcam.

Bought the Thinkware F50 because I didn't want to spend a lot of money, the distraction of a screen and also because thinkware support was better than Blackvue. Installation was easy. Note: If you have a leased car thinkware offers a suction mount for easy removal when you turn the car in. Check to see when your F50 was manufactured. Mine was 1 month old so no need to upgrade the firmware. Go to their website for info, its pretty easy to get the answers to the questions you have. I'll update review when it has been operational for a couple of months.

This is a entry level dash cam that does an amazing job . You cannot view on the unit itself but you can use there viewer on you're PC and it works great. The video and recorder on my unit is great. I highly recommend this cam it's easy and just works well, a product that works like it is intended.

This item itself isn't horrible. The included SDHD card could be bigger, but outside of that the product is compact and serves its purpose. This is where my good review comes to an end. Along with this product, I also purchased the GPS sensor to inform me of where red-light cameras would be before I got to them. While it does do this, it unfortunately is never updated. My county loves to move the cameras around when people get use to where they are and they can't make any money on them anymore. As such, it's critical that the information for the whereabouts of these cameras is updated regularly. Sadly, ThinkWare doesn't update this information. I even emailed them a few times requesting that they update this information. Not once did they ever email me back, and my camera gives me false positives for cameras, and it also fails to alert me about where some cameras even are. So with that, I'd avoid this one. The extra GPS sensor to detect the lights cost me another $30, and it doesn't serve its purpose. I will be buying elsewhere in the future to satisfy my needs.

I have had it for about 3 weeks and I love it. I hardwired mine in. I live in New Orleans and temperatures can get pretty obnoxious. So far it has handled the extreme hot weather.

Hi I have been learning more how to use camera and I really wanted to be able to watch footage from my phone or if there is an app and how do I connect It to camera? My Xbox used to let me watch videos from it when I connected the hdmi but no longer Also to use camera do we only plug Into car charger . I really need for when car is parked certain areas I do not trust . Does it affect my car battery much?
