The viewer software is also very easy to use. Overall the build quality was very nice - I have had several dash cams and this is the best one yet.

The only problem i have is when i open the thinkware program and download from the micro SD card, my computer will not "eject" the card and until i completely shut down the computer it shows something in that SD slot.

Good starter dash cam for the money

All I was looking for is something that continuously recorded video and audio. I was also on a tight budget which is why I chose the Thinkware F50. This camera does the trick and it was very easy to install. Does what I needed it to do. Only drawbacks are: 1) doesn't record well in low lighting. 2) records in 1 minute increments. It still records continuously, but there's a small break every minute. 3) makes a noise every time I hit a small to medium bump (I believe it's a crash feature, so that it automatically records if you're ever in a crash.) Overall I recommend this product if you just need an entry level dash cam.

We just wanted to let you know that the 1 minute interval is a security measure for if memory card failure were to happen, less footage would be effected. You can also adjust the sensitivity of impact sensor to receive less frequent sound alerts in the PC Viewer by going to "Settings" --> "Record Settings" for "cont. sensitivity".
