I bough thus controller in Jan 2021 and it is now July 2021. This thing just decided to stop working one day on both my PC and series X. The joysticks slowly stop registering and eventually you lose complete joystick control of the game. The buttons and gamepad work fine. At first i thought it was a new game on my PC but the same exact issue is happening on my series X. This thing has seen VERY light use since i mainly use a keyboard and mouse. I had high hopes for a bigger sized controller with modular options. Ive had a razer controller last 2 yrs and an elite controller last nearly 2 yrs with daily heavy use. This thrustmaster barely had a few days a month of gaming time.

Avoid like the plague, breaks fast, no support

Broke days outside of the 45 day return period, TM's response, 5 days of waiting... phone support after re-dialing for 15 minutes because their "support" line hangs up after 10 seconds if no operators are free.... After finally reaching a "we won't hang up on you" queue, the #2 position and "12 minute wait" lasted 55 minutes, only to be told, "Your case isnt assigned to me, you'll have to keep waiting." Pray yours never breaks, and if it does, pray you don't have to wait in Thrustmaster to honor their warranty because it will be out of warranty by the time they actually respond to your problems.

Defective unit. I'm 18 days out of return window and product's company will not take my return either (telling me I have to return to Best Buy). One of the magnets to hold the side plate does not properly fit. In addition, the controller will not switch profiles using the profile 1 / 2 button on the controller. In order to get your settings to work for one of the profiles, you need to reconfigure the controller every time you turn on the xbox. Very disappointed, but cool idea behind the device.

The Eswap X Pro controller is a great controller that has plenty of customization options, complimented by buggy mapping software. Fresh out of the box, the controller comes with 2 different styles of joysticks - regular and mini. They are very easy to swap out, you just have to screw them on. I’ve tried both types, while both are very comfortable and premium quality, I enjoy the mini sticks better. There is also a screw driver, a nice carrying pouch and a USB cable to connect the controller. The controller feels good and comfortable to hold, I do wish they would have made it a little smaller because my hand would start to occasionally go numb. The buttons are awesome! They’re flat and make a nice clicking sound when you push them, they’re also super responsive. The left and right triggers have a locking mechanism, that when switched on, you only have to pull them half way. This is ideal for shooters, giving you faster shots when pulling the trigger. The programable back buttons are very convenient and don’t get in the way at all. The D-pad is great, it’s very precise and feels good too. Both the joysticks and the D-pad can be swapped out with each other to create a customized experience. There is also a standard mic jack as well as vol controls located on the bottom of the controller. The controller connects to either a PC, Xbox One, or the new Xbox series X - using the extra long USB cable. I really wish they would have made this controller wireless as well as hard wired, but they didn’t. The controller’s button configuration as well as trigger sensitivity can be customized through the Thrustmapper app. The app comes on both windows and Xbox. The app is pretty simple, I used the Xbox app to customize my back keys. At first, my controller started acting funny..The joysticks, when pushed down, activated several other buttons at once making it unusable. I was finally able to fix this by unplugging the USB cable directly from my Xbox, then plugging it back in. After that, everything worked fine. The app is still new and very buggy, this I assume will be fixed with future updates though. Overall, the Eswap X Pro controller is a great controller, that offers plenty of customizing options. I do wish it was also wireless, and they would have made it a little bit smaller, but it still is a good option for competitive gamers. It does feel comfortable to hold and the buttons feel great. I would recommend this to any hardcore gamer looking for an elite controller.

I have had more problem with this than its worth. 1 minute i cant switch between presets without opening app and manually switching. When i try to program buttons from controller instead of app the controller doesnt except it. Now i will be in the middle of playing and complete controller shut down except the light stay on but no buttons work at all without unplugging and replugging. Tried to update firmware and says im up to date. Then support asks me to reboot so i do and now it wont work at all. Wont even allow me to update and app says no controller detected. Contacted support again but they do nothing for you. Do not buy this controller. You will be disappointed and waste your money.

The right trigger would randomly activate and that caused problems when playing games and navigating the menus of the Xbox. Wouldn’t recommend this controller especially with the price being so high.

    modular pro-style controller

The wired nature of this controller initially caught me off guard, as it seems the big push is for wireless everything - wireless earbuds, wireless peripherals, etc. Form: the silhouette looks pretty indistinguishable from the typical XBox-style controller to me, which may or may not be a good thing. I'm personally partial to the DualShock controller feels, so XBox controllers typically feel a bit big to me in the hand. That being said, it's not uncomfortable to use during long sessions. Modularity: this is one of the big advertised points of the eSwap Pro X. Three drop in bays 2 left and bottom right allow you to switch around the sticks and/or D-pad. The face buttons, XYAB, are fixed and can't be moved from the upper right of the face. I set mine up to mimic my DualShocks, in that the Dpad is in the upper left nearest my thumb, and the sticks are at the bottom of the controller. Input: input galore. Frankly, with the ability to map all. the. buttons. it can be a bit overwhelming. Beyond the typical buttons found on controllers, there are additional buttons on the rear of the controller, which you can map. The triggers can be adjusted to shallower vs deeper pulls, so if you're into shooters, making the travel shorter can mean easier shots. Overall, I actually really appreciated the wired nature after all. No worrying about battery packs, whether I'm going to lose connection during a game due to low power, etc. The buttons are all nice and with tactile clicks, and rated for 5 million clicks which is absurdly long. I don't have an Xbox X, so can't speak to the XBox portion, but it works fantastically on my PC for platformers. For shooters, honestly, why would you go backwards and play controller when you have mouse/keyboard... highly recommend.
