Works absolutely perfectly, works with Google home and all other apps!

Used for my Christmas tree and a couple other household devices. Download the Kasa app to set daily timers or manually turn on and off each outlet. You can also manually turn each outlet on and off at the power strip. After adding to your wifi network I recommend testing each outlet before moving to final desired location. Had issue with only one outlet where scheduling timer was working. I still could also manually turn on and off each outlet from app. To remedy the issue I deleted the device from the Kasa app and reinstalled it. Worked with no issues. Currently working with zero problems.

So it's not very cheap, and why not get the single-outlet plugs so you can freely move them about? For me, it's because I use this strip for my workstation area... and there plenty of devices that need juice in that general vicinity. Not only can you control each plug separately, but the one thing I especially love - historical & realtime energy consumption for each separate outlet. It's been interesting to see (and plot 6 graphs simultaneously) what conditions and combinations are causing my energy usage to skyrocket. I still plan on getting the individual TP-Link outlets - with the energy monitoring - as well for other suspect devices around the house. They run about $30/piece, maybe $25/ea if bought in 2-packs. So another way of looking at it is this strip gives you 6x outlets with all the same functionality for a significant cost saving in total (minus flexibilty, or I mean just use a $5 extension cord if it bothers you that much?)

If you have an area with concentrated devices (e.g., computer desk), this WiFi power strip is awesome to have. Not only it allows you to control each plug separately and remotely, it also gives you reports about how much energy each peripheral is using. Over the 4 months of ownership, it required a resent once, since it became unresponsive to remote commands. In addition to the Kasa app, Alexa will have full control over each device if you’re in the Amazon eco system.

I bought two of these. one to plug in my Wi-Fi router and my Broadband cable box, so that I could schedule a daily reset to keep everything fresh. And the other one is to control my home arcade machine and all of the components that are within it using my echo dot. it works flawlessly. Would definitely have this as my power strip throughout the whole house if they didn't cost so much.

I like that you can control individual outlets. Especially if you sync to your google home/ Alexa. I updated my routines so that when I get home it turns on my tv, sound bar, Apple TV. Beware, it gives you the ability to turn on the device but won't completely turn it on. (Example: When I turn on the outlet for the tv, sound bar, Apple TV it will power them on but not literally turn them on)

Really like this power strip. TP link smart products are very easy to set up using the Kasa app. The outlets are controlled individually and three USB charge ports are a great feature. I have several TP link smart products in my home and all play nice with google assistant.

This plug is easy to setup, all we needed to do is download the app, connect the smart strip to our wifi and name the plugs we plugged in to be able to control them. We are able to shut the whole strip off or just the plugs that are not in use. Great way to be able to control our appliances in a smart way. We are also able to check the energy used on each plug.

I use this to control components for aquarium system. I can easily observe the power used by each components and quickly shutdown all or individual item based on the need. Highly recommend to anyone who needs to control several things attached to a system like PC, music system etc.

This is a great product, it seems well built with good quality material. The ability to remotely control it is amazing as it can apply to almost anything. I use it to remotely reboot a machine that often goes down. The app also lets me know the power daily, weekly, and monthly consumption.

I am using it in my grow tent and this holiday season. The strip tells the actual power consumption of each plug on the strip. I have full control with the app with schedules for on/off and also the daily/weekly/monthly power usage. If you have wifi you can control these plug ins remote. Really good buy in my opinion.

A little overpriced, but I’m still very happy I purchased this. Initially, it would randomly lose connection, but a firmware upgrade must have fixed that. It stays connected 100% of the time. Helpful scheduling and energy monitoring features and works with Alexa.

I love my Smart strip! It easily paired with Alexa once I downloaded the app to my cellphone. It does so much more than I expected therefore I have more to explore with it. Thus far just using 2 plugs for my lamps. Overall very happy with this purchase. I've been diagnosed with bursitis in both shoulders. It has been a life saver when my shoulder is bothering me and I can't reach up to turn off the light. I can even have Alexa turn on the light before I get out of the car when arriving at home. Never walk into a dark room or house again! Will purchase more of these products! Just go on and buy one for yourself- you won't regret it!!

We have been using this one for a couple of years and reorder for another set to replace our other few cheaper version of smart plugs. This one is easy to set up and still working! Our other cheaper smart plugs works good but it only lasted for a couple of months.

This is my third Kasa powerstrip. I use them in combination with a Sense Energy Monitor to keep energy consumption in check. Each plug is separately monitored which makes for great value. Setup is a breeze using the Kasa app and both Sense and Alexa recognize them.

Bought it for the energy monitoring feature because it integrates with Sense (whole house energy monitoring: https://sense.com). Gives me better insight into the power usage of all the components of my home entertainment system (cable box, tv, subwoofer, receiver, streaming box, router) . Each of the six outlet has its own energy monitoring feature. Very informative! Might get a second one in the future. Looks fantastic, is well made, and works great. It's hard to find any flaws, but if you are trying to mount it on the wall, be aware that the slotted holes in the back are very (very!) shallow and I could not find any screws that would fit (Yes, I have a very large collection of screws! Screw head is either too wide or too thick. Finally ended up using nails instead.). They should have either included the correct mounting screws or make the slots slightly larger and deeper to fit typical screws.

Honestly, this is the COOLEST power strip I've seen. I'm an electrical engineer, so I immediately geeked out over this thing. First of all, each receptacle (there are 6 total) is individually controllable though a relay inside the device. Simply press a small button on the power strip, or through the app, and off/on it goes! Oh but wait, there's more! Each receptacle also reports an "instantaneous" wattage consumption. For me this was really cool because I use this to power all the electronics at my desk. So I can see how much power my computer, monitors, and speakers are consuming. Now, does the typical person really care that much or even need this feature? Probably not, but still, it's pretty neat to have. Also, you can track the amount of energy use (in kilowatt-hours) and runtime (hours) over a 1-day, 7-day, and 30-day period. I find the energy use the most helpful. You can really get an idea how much energy a device uses over a typical month, which may or may not be of a concern. However, for me, being able to cutoff power to all the electronics at my desk allows me to know for sure that there is no standby power being consumed and wasted while my devices are not being used. Honestly, if you can pickup this thing for under $70 then it's well worth it. This is the most useful at a desk or behind an entertainment center (basically anywhere you have a concentration of electronics). If you want to control loads that are more separated (like a floor lamp plugged into a duplex receptacle) then I recommend purchasing the Kasa Smart Wi-Fi Plug Mini.

I use the kasa smart wifi power strip to control my aquarium. Can easily program my lights, heater and pump from one app. Will even show me my current and average power consumption for each device. Highly recommend this product.

Works flawlessly, easy setup using the Kasa Smart App and easy setup with Google Home as well. It is a bit pricey, would recommend getting it during a sale.

Finally! A smart device that works with my computer desk! This strip is exactly what I wanted for my home office so I don't have to look at blinking LEDs or turn of the laptop, dock station, 2 and 2 monitors every night before bed. One Nest "turn off the office" command, and it's off for the night. The bonus of having the USB ports for charging cell phones, and those all important wireless headsets is a real outlet-saver as well. (The USB ports are not smart-controlled),
