The weights are good. Exactly as expected. The reason for the star deduction is they arrived in a box that shows an MSRP that’s much lower than I paid at Best Buy.

Warning this is only for 1 actual dumbbell you don’t get a set. To be honest I was still very impressed with this double love the coating I used to have pure metal ones that used to leave marks on my hand, these are actually very good to use no scratches on my hand. The weight are very accurate it feels like actual 10lbs. I ended up buying a 5lb set ,10lb set and 15lb set after this purchase wish they have 20lb amd 25lb as it is one of my most used weights I’m going to try buying similar dumbbells to complete my home gym from 5lb to 25lb

I really enjoy using these dumbbells. They don’t tear my hands up and I don’t need to wear gloves

I bought 3 lb dumbbell from this brand and really enjoyed them. Needed heavier set and purchased this 8lb one. I really like it and there isn’t much to complain about. This is a basic set. Great quality for the money. I researched other sets and they were way more expensive. Great bargain for quality product. Very satisfied.

Grip is good and feels comfortable. A little issue is it caches dirt.
