I have few bulbs and I bought a couple of these bulbs to use outside. These bulbs don’t work very well there often hard to connect to the app to change the settings. I do not recommend them and would not purchase them again. I would recommend using Hue bulbs although they are expensive. When I bought them they worked with IFTTT, but they are discontinuing that service

They are trying to put too many features into this product and it does not deliver! There are supposed to be a huge variety of colors however you'll be lucky if you select red and actually get red. It doesn't react to music. It flashes color if you have music on the device the app is installed on (sometimes) A simple 8 true colors are better than 2000 colors that don't work. I was disappointed

This was my second ilumi purchase. The first was for the bedroom and this was for the flood light over the front door. Paired one time and then never again. It's mounted 20 feet over the door so I didn't feel like unscrewing it and doing it again. It should have worked the first time and every time for the price. I wouldn't recommend this model.

I was going to integrate this into my smart home setup, I currently have lots of Hue bulbs and WeMo products working with both Echos and Google home...This was almost impossible to integrate, so I returned it... I'll stick with Hue.

The app needs to be fixed. I've set it up, then it can't find my lights. Then I go thru a reset & it finds them. I can't change the schedule. Overall, without the app, they are just expensive lights.

The ilumi light BR-30 outdoor smartbulb is a great little product. Just screw in the bulb outdoors, download the app to your mobile and enjoy. The app works with Bluetooth technology and works smoothly. The light is quite bright and is so convenient to be able to turn it on/off from your car, and I believe in the near future there will be a vacation mode in the new app. There are a lot of great colors and settings, you can use a super bright light or have an amber light to avoid bugs...there's even a setting that syncs to the music on your mobile device. I have a lot of fun with this bulb and highly recommend it!

I truly loved the product. I had looked into these bulbs for my outside mehndi because it was just what i needed. How it functions with the app is amazing and very easy. I was able to easily change the lights at my convenience and loved the music and timing features. The other benefit is how versatile these are and how they fit in the standard bulb receptacle, which was an issue with some other similar led bulbs on the market. Overall I have had a great experience with this product and can not wait to purchase more for my next outdoor event.

I had issues making this work with both my Android and my i-pad. It seemed I could only pair it with one or another and had to perform the hard-to-find reset procedure for it. Please also note they are Bluetooth only. I was not able to get the music feature to work even with the newer of the two available IOS apps, it would crash the app. Other than that, the lights are nice, consistent and bright, the range of white light is also nice but I am going to return mine. The hardware is nice, the software needs work. I will hold out for a more mature product.

I had my first night with the Ilumi and what a blast. We were having friends over and I wanted to have a different 'look' outside. First of all, it took like 3 minutes to set up and figure out all of the settings. The white light is super bright and perfect if you want to illuminate a large area. But the hit was the color wheel. I kept changing it throughout the night and everyone was pretty awed. Going out this week to get 3 more and will sync them all!

I am totally in love with ilumi <3. I bought the smaller ones for my room and they completely steal the show whenever I throw a party. This time I wanted to try out the outdoor bulb and install it in my backyard. I wasn’t very sure at first if it would give a similar effect as the indoor bulbs…but it very well lived up to my expectations. A quick way to dress up your home with just a tap on your phone screen !!! Couldn’t have asked for anything better than this. It is so adaptable, use it the way you like it!

I bought this light to use for holidays under the eaves of my house in recessed cans. I have 4 cans but only bought 2, 1 on opposite ends. These lights are very bright and almost exactly match any color temp with other brand bulbs. Out of the box these lights feel solid also! Now that they are on sale, I will be buying more!

These lights look great, when they work, which isn't too often. The app is awful, it can't find new lights, lights that are paired disappear, the schedule feature is buggy as can be. They basically do whatever they want and they only thing you can do is cross your fingers and hope they work like you want them to - but they probably won't. I'm stuck with about 10 of these and my only wish is that Philips made an outdoor Hue light.

One of friends recommended this product, as I host a lot of house parties. And trust me, these lights have brought extra energy to the parties. I would certainly recommend this to everyone.

I was so amazed with how easy it was to install the illumi. It was changing colors in moments. There are some fun features with it that I wouldn't have considered with a bulb. I am not what someone would call tech savvy, but it has a walkthrough, and the app is also helpful which made very easy.

My favorite feature about this light bulb is the color wheel. There is a color wheel in the smart phone app which allows you to change colors, and you can even get to the "in betweens" of colors. You can schedule the bulb to turn on or off at certain times of the day, although that part of the app does need improvement. All in all, I love my new bulb and love showing it off at my back yard barbecues!!

Well designed and constructed lightbulb. Fits in standard outdoor receptacles well, with solid construction. Great light levels and use of app is simple. Perfect for illuminating your house in special colors to make it easily identifiable for parties or holidays.

I came across the outdoor bulb while partying at my friends place and it amused me at the first sight! The App is so easy to install & operate that you don't have to be "tech-savy" to understand its functionality. It makes my patio and poolside more colorful.

They're alright, not like you can take em home screw them in and enjoy. I almost took them back. To complicated, instructions are non existant, help if your a computer scientist/electician. They do what they say they'll do, but i wasnt all that impressed. They change with the music, i had to sign up for google music, but seems like they interfere with the music, if stereo hooked up to your blue tooth, looses signal for split second, sometimes its really annoying. Im thinking about running a cable out to the patio so i can play music on my phone more clearly.

I just had my first pool party with the new bulb outside and I definitely recommend!
