    150$$for glitched out light bulbs!? I was told by the sales person that these light bulbs would be able to be set to a schedule. I am out of town often and I wanted my outdoor lights to turn on at night. Unfortunately, the "schedule" function doesn't work and crashes every time I try to set it. I sure wish people would figure out what they were doing BEFORE they sold a 70$ lightbulb!!!! Lol!!!!

      So sorry to hear about your experiences with ilumi thusfar. We'd love to learn a little bit more about about which device you're using and what steps were taken to set your schedule. We currently have both our classic ilumi app and new ilumi app available on the App Store and Google Play store. The classic app already has scene scheduling functionality, and we're currently in the process of building out a completely revamped scheduling process for the new app.

      If you're using the classic app (multicolored ilumi logo), here's a troubleshooting guide on how to set a schedule. I'd suggest using this method until we roll out scheduling for the new ilumi app.

      The salesperson was correct in that ilumi can set schedules and remember them without your phone being in range, though keep in mind that the bulb must be physically turned on at the switch and receiving power to set a schedule and trigger the schedule.

      Additionally, our classic app currently offers Vacation mode that was specifically developed for busy travelers like yourself. Once Vacation mode is set and store in your bulbs, the bulbs with turn on and off at random during the evening hours to simulate activity within your home.

    the app is it so poor and does not justify the cost $$$ of this product. I do not recommend anyone.
