    the discs held a ton of space and i found out the "+R" is a Mac's ability to read the disc

    These Verbatim DVD+R discs worked great for transferring old VHS tapes to dvd. The quality largely depends on the old VHS recording and the time set for the disk to transfer. I highly recommend these disks.
