I have had Viper for decades and this new one is fantastic. MUCH more range than I was used to on the previous models. The remotes are much smaller and the 2-way notification that lights up makes it easy to know if your car is running. Getting into a warm vehicle sure does feel good. Note that getting the car cooled down in the hot summer is also fantastic...can't wait for that season.

I installed this Viper remote start/keyless entry system a couple of weeks ago in my Subaru Outback, and it has been working really well so far. The setup was straightforward: I was able to schedule the installation easily, and everything was taken care of (installation included) with no hassle. The device tucked into the car is quite discreet; nothing bulky or noticeable hanging around the dash, so it looks clean and integrates well. Using the phone/app to activate the system is super convenient. I can warm up the car from inside the house, and by the time I’m ready to get going, the vehicle is warm and comfortable.

This auto start has been nothing but great since receiving it! Purchased on best buy app, and chose for item to be picked up in store vs sent to my home. The best buy shop kept it for me and it was there and ready when i showed up for my install apt. Apt for install took approx 45m. I've had zero issues with the auto start since install. Works great to start my truck during the cold winter months, and so far the range for the starter seems great!

I had the viper remote starter installed in my wife’s car and I can’t believe we didn’t get one sooner. This makes cold Minnesota mornings so much easier. The key fobs are small and simple to use. You can start and shut the car off or even unlock the car as you approach it with just one button. The fob has a notification light and plays a chime when successfully started. It chimes again to remind you the car is running. It is a simple product to use and Best Buy’s installation made it even easier. I definitely recommend this for those who don’t have a factory option for a remote start

I’m really happy with this remote start system. Scheduling installation was simple and they finished it much faster than I expected. The fob is small and lightweight but still feels sturdy and well made. I really like having two way confirmation so I know the car actually started, and the mile range gives the car plenty of time to warm up. It has been a seamless upgrade and I’m very pleased with it.

What range! This remote start has waaaay better range than the factory remote start in my other vehicle. No problem starting it when inside a big box store and parked in the back. I also love the indicator light that lets you know it worked. My other vehicles leaves you guessing. Install was simple too. I just dropped off my car and it was done in about two hours. Couldn’t even tell it had been worked on. Couldn’t recommend more.

Our old car became high end car after we purchase this item. Very efficient. Car is warm already before we get in. And in summer it will useful too.

It was really a good decision, now I have 10 more minutes to prepare my departure without rushing to warm up the car and having to return after being cold, having 2-way communication makes me calm knowing that the car keeps heating up to start a good day. Installed in Passat 2018

Well worth it. I would get this again and again only issue I had was getting it installed at Champaign location went too another store was put in successfully

I got my Viper remote installed a few weeks ago and I have been nothing but pleased with it. I love the long range of 1 mile. When I'm at my kids events at school when it sub zero weather it was nice to know I didn't have to worry about parking close to the school are walk close the entrance and hope it worked. My car fired up everytime and it was great coming out to a nice warm vehicle. I also love that the remote confirms that the vehicle has started. The remote is very intuitive and easy to use and you start your car, lock or unlock your car all from the remote. I would recommend the Viper to anyone who asks me what brand they should buy

I should have bought this remote start sooner. The timing could not have been better with the harsh cold that hit us the past week. This Viper is a long range remote start – up to 1 mile, which is amazing. The 2-way remote lets you know when it starts. It works with keyless entry vehicles, too. For the money, which included install, this is a fantastic remote start. I had it installed in a 2008 Lexus SUV. I make sure to set the temp to high, and make sure all the defrost buttons are on so that I don’t have to spend time scraping. I LOVE IT! Worked from my house, the office, the store. But, then I tested it with airport parking. Having a way to start my car from a long distance, in the winter, worked perfectly. The remote let me know that it started. The car was warm by the time I got to it. Best Buy install team was incredible and answered all my questions. Like I said before, I should have bought it sooner. Will be buying the add-on SmartStart Pro as an added bonus. Highly recommend for those who live in all kinds of weather.

It was frustating start because the original appointment I had was with local Best Buy in Woodbridge, NJ. Unfortunately, the week before my appointment they notified me that the tech is quitting and I would need to reschedule at another location. I went it to reschedule my appointment, at another Best Buy further away and the earliest appointment was more than 3 weeks after my original date. Delays aside, I am happy with the work the installation team performed installing the remote starter. So far, it's working great and I would recommend Best Buy despite the initial scheduling challenges.

Good range distance, I like how the signal light tells if car still running, I have encountered some issues of locking all doors even when trying to unlock different ways — I hope that changes because my hands r always carrying bags, not able to get the key out of my pocket/purse.

The overall product is absolutely amazing!. The product does exactly what as described!. The technicians were professional, knowledgeable, friendly, polite, and very helpful.

So far everything seems to work the way it should. We have a diesel 2500 and was unsure with cold weather and how diesels start up that it might not work properly. It's been some super cold nights and husband goes to work at 3 am. Nice to have the truck all warmed up and ready by the time he heads out the door! Love the two way showing that it has started
