I bought an older car that had power locks but I did not have a remote to control them. I bought OEM remotes but could not get them to connect to the car. I decided to instead look into aftermarket remotes and alarm from best buy. The price of the alarm included installation which was a complete surprise for me. The low price to add both an alarm and keyless entry was great. Now not only do I have keyless entry but I also have an alarm system. This is much better than any stock alarm system. The siren is extremely loud and would definitely create attention if someone was trying to break into my car. The alarm also has many sensors so if someone breaks a window, even touches the car hard enough it will set off the alarm. One option that was a complete surprise is that When I get in my car and put into drive my doors lock and when I turn the car off the doors unlock. This is something simple and more of a convivence feature but I like it a lot. Anyone looking to add keyless entry or an alarm to there car I would highly recommend looking into this alarm.

Have a car with electric locks, but no remote and this solved my problem. Now I can lock/ unlock with key fob. Alarm works well also.

Good solid build work as described easy install . There are available upgrades snd viper has great rep. Besides it was cheaper then the listed price good score

The FOBs work just as described, Toyota couldn't get the computer into learn mode to give me a replacement one, so I opted to get a new system, and these work like a charm! Yes my car is old (1999) but it's still running like a champ, and now I'm not worried about losing my factory FOB! Thank you!

I always buy Viper alarms. This one has more functionality than the ones I have purchased previously and will give a warning chirp instead of going off immediately. I haven't looked at the other functionality yet, so I can't speak to those. I like the bright blue LED because you can see it even from far away. It's easy to make sure your alarm is on at night before you go to bed. It does automatically arm in certain situations in case you forget (like when you get out of the car and walk away). You cannot unlock the doors without disarming the alarm first.

My car has manual locks so I was pleasantly surprised to find that an alarm has been produced that operates in that condition. I was also glad that there was a technician who was familiar with this alarm system and recommended it.

Works great. Should have gone ahead and headed so that my car would cause it started from the Key Ring.

My truck did not come with keyless entry and I wanted something that was not too expensive. The product included the install which was great!. The product also included an alarm which was a bonus!

This product provides the keyless entry I was looking for my daughters car the alarm is just an added feature. No issues so far the keyless features works great.

Alarm is simple and locks and unlocks doors. A little sensitive to loud noises though.

I bought the Viper primarily for keyless entry feature for the car that I bought my daughter as didn't have that feature. The security features are really a plus. We've had no issues with the system.

Great purchase for us. We have had absolutely no issues with this Viper Remote Starter. It does exactly what it should. The Best Buy tech did a great job with the installation. He made sure everything was tidy. You barely notice the receiver in the top left corner of the driver side window.

ONly issue I had was with installation. I would have been capable to install this item myslef given my pas experience. I do not have access to the wiring diagrams that the installers have. I ordered a motion sensor on ebay, since it was only $24, versus Best Buy's 60 plus $40-50 to install it. My biggest complaint was after seeing the install work, I was disappointed with the install this time. With past cars, previous installers at BB taped all the wires to the system, as they should be. This installer left the wires untaped and routed along metal frame edges, epxosing the wires to chaffing. I spent about 4 hours taping all of the work behind the installer when I added the motion sensor. Other than that, it works fine.

Sweet alarm for the price, alarm installed by johnny was actually pretty quick, it helps protect my new Honda, the wheels are being stolen every where, i now sleep at nite.

I paid for itself already protected my daughters car

Great for our 2003 Tacoma we just bought for our future 16 yr old. Blue light blinks after you lock the truck so that you (and everyone else) knows that your truck is secure and alarmed. It also chirps when you lock and unlock from the fob to let you know the request was complete. I'm very pleased. Plus Best Buy knocked out the install with ease. Great experience all around!

Greetings Best Buy, In search of a security alarm for my vehicle at that time, Best Buy was recommended for the purchase of the Viper system, its value, and pricing. It most definitely Stands up to the quality of its purpose and added security. although the car has been passed on to someone else. They appreciate and enjoy peace of mind day and night knowing that the transportation they depend on is safe and secure with having the Viper System with the keyless entry. Thank You Best Buy.
